Baby Fallow Deer Alert!
It's the season for babies here at Aggieland Safari, including our wonderful European Fallow Deer! These deer are not only elegant, but incredibly fascinating as well! They come in a variety of colors, from the common tans and browns, with or without spots, to the uncommon white and black. There's a color for everyone!

If you love fallow deer as much as we do, come visit them at the Aggieland Safari drive through! You can even feed them with animal feed purchased in the gift shop!

🧀 It's Goats Cheese Day! 🧀
Not only is today a day to celebrate the wonderful world of cheese, but also to celebrate our mischievously goofy goats!

If you're a fan of goats, stop by our safari where you can purchase animal food and feed the goats in our Farm Yard Friends petting zoo and drive through!

Not a fan of goats but love cheese? That's fine! We have a lovely pavilion area where you can bring and eat all your cheese while hanging out with our lovely giraffes!

Meet our Kinkajou, the cutest rainforest acrobat known for their big, curious eyes and prehensile tails! They love to climb and twist their ways through trees with the agility of a gymnast and grace of a ballerina. Despite their nickname, the Honey Bears, they are not bears at all! Rather, they are closer related to the racoon and coati, but they do have a sweet tooth.

We hope you'd stop by and say hi to our own nighttime acrobat at Aggieland Safari, located in the Animal Barn's Nocturnal Hall!

It's Baby Season!
In celebration for National Children's Day, we love to highlight some of our own babies at the safari. Bring your little ones for a fun day watching our baby capybaras and playful lemurs! It's a perfect opportunity for kids to learn about wildlife and and enjoy fun activies while doing it, such as playing on our playground and exploring our lovely giftshop.

As a safai, we are committed to protecting wildlife and the environment they live in. Our planet has an amazing diveristy of animals and habitats that deserve to be protected, and there are a few things that people at home can do to help! Reduce, reuse, and recycle waste, conserve water, support wildlife, and choosing eco-friendly products are just a few ways people can help protect and conserve the world around us.

It’s National 🥚 Egg 🥚 Day! Eggs are a staple part of many people’s diets around the world, packed with vitamins, protein, and minerals. Whether you enjoy them scrambled, fried, or poached, eggs can be enjoyed any time of the day.

Several of our animals lay eggs here at the safari! If you want to say hi some of our egg-laying critters, we’re open from 9-5 every day except Christmas and Thanksgiving.

It's National Prairie Day! Today, we celebrate the amazing prairies of the nation that sustain so much life, including one of our favorite animals at Aggieland Safari; the bison!

Our safari is home to some of these amazing creatures, including the rare white bison. The white bison holds a special place in many cultures, symbolizing hope and indication of good times to come. These animals are a powerful reminder on the importance of protecting our wildlife.

Let's celebrate these magnificent creature and the prairies they call home.

It's National Creativity Day! Today, we highlight a few of our wonderful birds at our safari.

Birds are some of nature's most creative architects and artists, from their colorful feathers to their intricate nests. Even their songs are creative!

Here at Aggieland Safari, you can even feed some of our birds! Just purchase some bird-sticks and meet our feathered friends in the indoor aviary located in our Animal Barn!

Gardening is an amazing way to get in touch with nature, grow food for yourself, and it's great for the environment. If gardening interests you, you can do some research and figure out what grows best in your environment! Happy planting!
