We absolutely love seeing your smiling faces and hearing about your amazing adventures at Aggieland Safari! To ensure our beloved animals continue to thrive in a safe and healthy environment, we need your help with a crucial request: please do not litter in our pastures.

While it might seem like a small act, even a single piece of trash can have devastating consequences for our animals and their habitat. Here's why:

Ingestion Hazards: Our curious animals, from majestic zebras to playful ostriches, can mistake litter for food. Ingesting items like plastic bags, wrappers, or aluminum cans can lead to serious internal injuries, blockages, and even be fatal.

Choking & Entanglement: Small items can pose choking hazards, while discarded ropes, netting, or plastic rings can cause painful entanglement, restricting movement, and cut off circulation.

Environmental Degradation: Litter isn't just unsightly; it pollutes our beautiful grounds and the surrounding ecosystem. Plastics, for example, can take hundreds of years to decompose, leaching harmful chemicals into the soil and water.

We are committed to providing a clean and safe home for our animals, and we appreciate your partnership in this effort. Please use the many conveniently located trash receptacles throughout the park. Let's work together to keep Aggieland Safari a safe and pristine!
