Spring time is here!

With warmer weather on its way and more frequent rain comes some risks to your animal's health. Leptospirosis is something that is becoming more common that you can easily protect your pet from contracting. We offer the Lepto vaccine to all of our canine patients and strongly recommend that anyone who has their pets outside frequently or around any lakes or rivers keep their pets up to date.

For more info, give us a call to schedule your pet today!

Happy Valentine's Day from the TRVH crew!

While today is about celebrating our loved ones, be sure to help keep your pets safe during the festivities. Chocolate is extremely toxic to our pets and can cause some serious damage to their organs.

If your dog has ingested chocolate, here are a few tools to have handy.
1- A Chocolate Toxicity Calculator. This will tell you what to expect based on the pet's information. www.veterinaryclinic.com/chocolate/calc.html
2- The Pet Poison Helpline: (855) 764-7661 *Fees may apply
3- Your local Animal Emergency Clinic: TAMU Small Animal Emergency 979-845-3541

We're wishing everyone a holiday full of love and snuggles!

Tabor Road Vet Family,

It is my great privilege to announce that our practice manager, Amanda Mendoza, has been accepted into the Texas A&M University, School of Veterinary Medicine, Class of 2027! Whoop!

I am so very proud of Amanda for continuing to follow her dream in spite of the MANY obstacles life threw at her over the last 2 years. We have all been praying for many months that her dream would come to fruition so I praise God and thank Him for his many blessings. He certainly works in ways we cannot see.

Amanda has been with me since the VERY FIRST DAY I opened this clinic and I’m not at all sure how I will replace her. 😳
She will be here another few months but I will ask in advance for your patience as we weather the storm of this transition. Trust me; I’m already praying!

Woof meow (That means thank you),
Dr. Val
