This deer is just to cool !! He's got a crazy antler coming out right beside his eye, and a horse mane. Was a bit challenging to recreate, But very fun!
Its a good thing he had that antler beside his eye to protect it , His other eye
Was blind and totally beat up!
Probably won't get a chance to mount one like this again so I'm really
Tickled I got to do this one.
If you all have any names for him, feel free to comment, i call him a belgian horse deer🤣

The big bucks are exciting to do, but this little guy is my favorite!😊 some kids get it done young, this one was taken by a 5 year old!

Congrats to Zach on a very unique buck!
He shot this buck way back in on public Land with a compound bow. This buck was a mature deer, But was just a thinner built deer, Possibly due to the fact there was no crop land in the area.
I couldn't find any form that would fit This buck since he had a very long head and neck, but super slim.
So I bought A form with the right length and then had to cut the Head in peices and thin it down and do some adjusting to the neck also,
it is a lot fun doing a custom fit!
Just thought you all might like to know the behind the scenes on this one😊

I'm very happy, yet a little sad... To tell you all that we have taken in as many deer for shoulder mounts as we feel like we can get done in a year.

We are still taking in skulls for Euro mounts

To whoever I made previous arrangements to bring in Deer those arrangements still stand!

We really appreciate all of you who have brought us deer!!

Right now I'm working hard to turn out some mounts for y'all!

If you don't feel comfortable caping out your own deer, bring it to the shop and we will be happy to do it for free 😊
I hate having to charge customers more because they weren't caped out right.
If you decide to do it yourself please leave me six inches of neck meat attached to the Head. Thankyou!!

Just got this one totally finished and ready to go home!! This had to be my funnest project yet!!

People keep wondering why he has hair up around his antlers burrs, so I thought I'd put this on here to clear that up LOL so this little deer was shot in September not long after he lost his velvet, so once the deer start rubbing on trees they rub or cut all that hair off. He looked just like this right after he was harvested 😊

Folks I've been working on getting skins ready for mounting and skinning out deer heads and trying to do a little hunting myself 😊 so I haven't been posting pictures of new deer that are mounted.... but we'll get to that here soon!! The rut is on!! hunt hard and enjoy it out there!

Hey y'all if you shoot a nice buck and don't want to get him shoulder mounted, I would be happy to do a European skull mount for you! And if he has a nice skin I would give you a discount on the European mount, because I am looking for nice larger sized capes!! Please share with anybody you know that might be interested. Hey y'all the rut is on!!!!! Had a great hunt this morning seen piles of deer and got this doe. Passed up a few bucks, holding out for a bigger one 😊 hope you all have success out there!!

As he is drying down I'm trying to get the right expression on this deer. Customer said he wanted this bucks expression to look like he's just chillin. Not too sleepy not too awake 🤣 So hopefully we can make him happy!!

Just got this young buck put together! My first early season buck! Super tedious because their hair is short so you can see everything you do wrong 🤣 but if you get it right.... man they look so good!! Give him a week or two until he's dry, and then I'll do the finish work and he'll go home!!

Working on this big black bear today! 273 lb sow!! The bear was killed 3 years ago, and the skin isn't' in very good condition.... so y'all can send up a prayer for me that it'll stay together while I'm working on it😊
