It’s officially German Shedder season—the time of year when mere mortals tremble in fear and vacuum cleaners cry for mercy. 🌀 Those aren’t tumbleweeds rolling across the living room, oh no… those are FUR MONSTERS plotting their next takeover. That “new s**g rug” under the couch? Not décor, just a secret colony of fluff bunnies staging a coup.

We brush. And brush. And brush. Hours vanish, entire forests of fur are removed… and yet—by some mystical, hair-raising sorcery—these dogs NEVER go bald. 👑

Here we see Baron, His Royal Fluffiness, receiving his royal grooming treatment. And would you believe it? This mountain of fur came from just a quick brushing. Long live the Shed King!

Stay strong, double-coated dog pawrents! 💪 We will persevere. We will survive. We will make it through this furpocalypse. And just when we think we’ve recovered… the dreaded Spring Shed will rise again. 🐾

Is there anything better than meeting someone and instantly knowing they’re your new bestie? That’s exactly what happened with Flynn and Timber—they hit it off right away! These two love nothing more than running full speed and chasing toys together. Flynn may zip circles around his older friends, but Timber never lets that stop her from trying her best to grab the prize first. Watching them play is pure joy—and with this cooler weather, it’s the perfect time for them to stretch those legs and soak up some social time.

Bummer I know. Another long, boring post 😴 💤.

We'd like to take a minute to remind folks of our closed dates and what they mean, especially for online booking. You may receive an automatic denial if we are completely closed those dates but also if we are simply closed for drop off or pick ups those dates. Obviously "Completely Closed" means we are taking some time off for ourselves, repairs, family vacation etc and no dogs are on site. However we also sometimes just need a day where we need to do something with no or minimal interruptions to the day, meaning "Your pup can be here, they just can't come or leave here."

Here's a list of closed dates during the time frame we are currently booking for.

Reminder that September 9, 10 & 11th are available for our daycare only specials and will need to be booked through messenger/text. Calls are not coming through again.

Completely Closed dates Oct 27- Nov 6.

No drop offs or pick ups on :

Nov 27 & 28
Dec 24 & 25
Dec 31 & Jan 1
Jan 28

Remember at this time all bookings must start on or before Dec 31 (technically Dec 30). If you have already scheduled for those days, that's on us for having forgotten to mark those out and you are still welcome to come on your originally scheduled day. 🙃

Adding another reminder that while we do a lot of "We can make that work" bookings in the summer, other than for a very select few dogs, we do not do that in the winter as we are inside more than out, unlike in the summer months. So get those winter plans in place and secure your holiday bookings because once they are filled we will not be utilizing our crates. Again, with exception for a few of our calm/older toy breed friends.
