Just a reminder that Foothills Veterinary Hospital Doctors and Staff will have a booth at the Bark for Life/Relay for Life (American Cancer Society) Event that is happening in Buckley this Saturday 07/20 from 9:30am-12:00pm. Please see pictures for more information.

We have 3 amazing baskets we are raffling.
We will be selling Ruffwear Cooling items and Nutramax Dasuquin Products all at 50% off valued price (While supplies last. Limit 1 per person).

Just a reminder with the recent very hot weather that we have been experiencing, it is very dangerous to leave your pets in the car. We hope that you and your pets are staying cool.

Our office will be closed on Thursday July 4th, in observance of Independence Day.

Just a reminder that loud fireworks and noises can spook your pets, causing them to become frightened. Keep your pets inside if you or your neighbors are setting off fireworks. Prepare a safe haven with toys and other things that they enjoy.

If your pet is needing anxiety medication to help them keep calm, please call and request a fill of medication.

We have hired a new veterinarian, his name is Dr. Ben. He is to start this coming Wednesday 🙂 He will most likely be accompanied by his beloved Golden Retriever "Boba (Fett)", whom will be staying in the doctors office. Photo and Bio to follow 😄

These cute lil Maine Coon's 🐈🐈visited us today. We were fortunate enough to give them some cuddles during their exam ❤ We are excited for their future appointments and to watch them grow into the BIG cats they will be 🐾

It is with bittersweet emotions that we inform you of the departure of Dr. Jordan Dunn from our hospital. She and her family will be relocating to a new state, with her final day with us being June 11th, 2024.

We want to thank Dr. Dunn for her dedication and excellent veterinary care she has provided to our patients, clients, and hospital since her arrival in 2020.

Rest assured that all of Dr. Dunn’s existing patients will still have continued care with our other wonderful veterinarians: Dr. Vetter, Dr. Weronko, and Dr. Dill. We are due diligently looking for another veterinarian to add to our team, in hopes to further expand our available appointments in the near future.

We wish her every happiness and success in her future endeavors and next adventure.

We would like to share Dr. Dunn’s Farewell letter below:

Dear Clients,

It is with a heavy heart that I announce effective June 11th, 2024 I will be leaving my position as an Associate Veterinarian at Foothills Veterinary Hospital. It has been a great honor to work with each and every one of you over the last 4 years. Throughout these years, I have had the great pleasure of getting to know each and every one of your families, whether for a single appointment or many. I wholeheartedly appreciate the trust you have placed in me to care for your beloved animals and family members.

Although I will be moving onto a new state and a new adventure, I will truly cherish the memories I have formed here at Foothills Veterinary Hospital. As I depart, I deeply encourage you to reach out to our other amazing doctors, as they strive to provide continued high quality care for your beloved pets.

I thank you each for the warm memories that I shall carry from our time together, and wish you all the very best.

A good samaritan found this dog in the South Prairie area and brought to our hospital. Pet is microchipped however all numbers associated to the microchip are unreachable or wrong number. Please call us at (360) 829-0500, we would love for this furbabie to reunite with its family ❤

Yesterday was a sad day around the clinic.
We lost one of our beloved clinic cats Julian. 💔
Julian was often found tucked into the blankets, drooling all over everything and giving the best snuggles to anyone and everyone!
He will truly be missed by everyone that got the chance to meet him❤️

This handsome guy was brought in today by a Good Samaritan. He was found off of Tubbs rd and 144th at the Harter’s tree farm. He is currently staying with the people who found him until the owners have been found!
Help us find this sweet guys family! Im sure he’s so missed!
