Roadrunner’s Beurre Blanc is 7 year old 13.2 palomino Welsh gelding. “Rem” is our resident Barbie Dream Pony! He is a well built, top of the line medium pony with the cutest expression and fun personality. Nice mover with comfortable gaits, a darling jump and easy changes. We took a small group up to Thunderbird for the Western Family Show. We did our own grooming and had a blast spending the extra time with our horses. Lots of time in the wash rack and taking horses for hand walks. Congratulations to everyone on another great show!

It was a soggy weekend at our first Lake Washington Saddle Club show of the year. There were some up and downs, but I was very proud of the young ladies that went and how they handled everything. We have our homework for the next show and look forward to showing our improvement.

Fancy is a 10 year old 12.1 palomino Welsh mare. She has great balance, smooth gaits and soft mouth. Changes are started, but not automatic. Best suited for crossrails to children’s hunter ponies. Congratulations to our riders who showed at the Spring National last week. Highlights include with ’s F-8 on their championship in the Adult Amateur Hunters, reserve championship in the Adult Equitation and being named leading Adult Amateur rider of the show. MacArthur and were Champion in the Pre-Adult Equitation and also had great ribbons in the Pre-Adult Hunters. Special Jewel and stepped up to the 3’ and got better every day. They also did an amazing job in their first medal class together! Black Forest owned by stepped up to the Performance 3’3” and finished 8th in the National Derby. It was definitely hard to come home from Thermal, but the spring weather is here! A fresh drag and our first course set in the outdoor arena this year has us all🤩. This morning we had a crisp and frosty lesson, but it was so nice to be outside again in the sunshine!!🌞

What a great Sunday to wrap up Desert Circuit 8! After a crazy windy Saturday, the whirlwind continued as we had a jammed packed Sunday before everyone flew home. Very proud of all our riders and their horses! Not sure anyone appreciated the winter weather when we arrived home though!!❄️🥶

We started off with morning with sleepy horses before cheering on our AA riders. Then the weather took a turn for the worse and the rest of the show day was done. We made the best of it and still had a great day!
