To answer a lot of questions that flooded in these past 10 days, legally we were bound to not answer until now, about the rescue that had dogs taken from them in our town. Yes, we participated in being a temporary shelter for dogs in this emergency. Some clients sadly did watch us unload these dogs as they arrived last Wednesday and load them back up to be placed in loving rescue homes this morning. We had only a few hours' notice this was even happening. Will we NOT tell you who we had. This is an active criminal investigation. We must follow all criminal investigative processes. They have been bathed, nails trimmed, fed and gained many pounds in our care. They are going to reputable rescues, and we are hopeful they will lead happy loving lives with new families, once the healing has happened. We were happy to provide for these dogs over the last 10 days and ask that if you have questions, you please contact the State of Maine Animal Welfare Program.

Happy summer! We ask that you respect the farm animals and do not travel down the farm road. Please do not feed the animals or the horses! We have some with medical issues and even a small snack can hurt them! The horses are grazing on grass and may be closer than normal and/or being walked to pasture. Slow down. Please - one client and dog(unless you can control Multiples) in the office at a time- and stay off the porch at a distance. If you are on the porch it becomes a scene 🙈 We do board dogs who don’t like others or are intacted. Please respect if a car is before you to wait. Skipping the line is rude. 🙈 our employees will be parked far to the farm road side by the dumpster, or on the lawn, as to not confuse. Please please just respect eachother and our private family farm. Happy summer! ❤️❤️

Due to the projected snow forecast, we will not have daycare tomorrow April 4th. If you have boarders needing to be dropped off or picked up, please contact us to check the status of the driveway before coming in.

We are still on generator power. Heat is on and have plenty of generator power to keep things running til cmp gets us back online. However, this means we have no phone, no internet(no email) and no credit card machines, so it’s best to try to catch us here if you need us!

Update! My spinal surgery on Monday went very well! I am able(by doctors orders) to sit up, eat, talk, walk very slowly small distances, and watch tv. 😂 As you all know it’s driving me nuts but I am following the doctors orders.

Daycare will resume as normal next week, and I am hoping after the 8th when I see the doctor I will be able to answer phones or very light office work some. I want to thank all of the clients who have called, emailed, or stopped in asking if I am ok. Also all those who have brought us meals to keep us fed! I thank you from our hearts! This community is amazing ❤️❤️

We have had many calls this morning and there has been some confusion about holidays we are closed on or have change in hours.

We are closed for daycare and boarding hours are 9-10 and 4-5 on the following holidays
Martin Luther King Day
Presidents’ Day
Columbus day
Veterans day
Juneteenth day
Black Friday
Christmas Eve

We are completely closed on
New Year’s Day
Easter Day
Memorial Day
Independence Day
Labor Day
Thanksgiving day
Christmas Day

Even on days we are closed there is still staff in the building to care for the animals. We are here 365 days a year. Around holidays if we have reached max capacity we may also have to limit daycare, but this would be posted here on our page or in the lobby weeks before.

We will be closed January 29 through February 2nd for daycare. We may have to cancel the following week as well based upon my healing rate. We are sorry for the inconvenience but I am having spinal surgery and need to reduce capacity so we don’t overwhelm our staff.

We still do not have power. If your dog needs to come to daycare we will take them tomorrow. But again if you can stay home it does make things easier on us while we have limited power resources til we are fully restored. We have lights and Boarders are warm and have water! We are praying they will come re install the fuse they removed 2 days ago when fixing the broken pole soon. But as only “one” on the road we are not top priority.

All boarding bookings remains the same! Hours for drop off Friday are 730-10 am and 230-5pm Saturday hours are 9-10 am or 4-5pm

The trucks have come and gone for the day it seems. They worked for almost 12 hours today and we are so thankful for our linemen! 👏👏

We are still running on generators. This means we have no phones, internet or credit card machines. We have no idea if they will be back again or how long we will be without power. So use caution when traveling in to us tomorrow. If you need us please send us messages here!

Our office hours for boarding will remain the same 730-10am and 230-5pm.

We are asking if your dog needs daycare tomorrow we will be here but if you don’t truly need it, please stay home. Things are still a mess everywhere, and we would like to mimimize traffic in and out incase the linemen need to be back. As stated before use caution on the driveway as the storm has not made it any better! We will update as we know more!

Good morning!

Daycare is closed today! We are not sure about tomorrow as of yet as there is a lot of damage out there! Our building and kennel fencing is intact with no damage! We are running on generator power which likely means we will have limited phone service.

There are two snapped power poles at the end of our road on route 46. The road is passable. We are unsure when these will be repaired. When the power company is repairing them I suspect our driveway will be closed off for a while due to the poles needing to be replaced. Please use caution when coming in and out! Please keep watch for any line workers!

Boarding drop off and pick up hours will remain the same. Hours are 730-10 am and 230-5pm!

Please be careful our road has taken a beating these last two storms and we have had multiple trees fall that have been cleared but there still is debris. If you need us message us here! Be safe everyone!

Update!! There is a snapped pole right at the entrance of our driveway. I suspect cmp will need to set a whole new pole and rewire this. Use extreme caution tomorrow!

Due to road conditions and power outages we are canceling daycare tomorrow…. We do not expect to have power back any time soon we have no phones as well. So messages us here.. we are not sure our employees are even able to make it to work tomorrow. Things are very messy out there! Boarding drop off and pick up hours will remain the same. Due to an injury and reduced staff we are forced to close for daycare this Friday. If you would like to switch to Wednesday or Thursday please call and we will accommodate. We are sorry for the last minute cancelation!

The following dates have hour changes due to Holidays or Events.

We will be CLOSED for daycare November 10th. Open 9-10 and 4-5 for boarders
We will be CLOSED November 23 for Thanksgiving.
We will be CLOSED for November 24th for daycare. Open 9-10 and 4-5 for boarders
We will be open 9-10 am ONLY on December 16th.
We will be CLOSED for Christmas on December 25
We will be CLOSED for New Years Day on January 1st.

KENNEL Attendant/farm hand - Full Time/part time- Seeking a positive, enthusiastic and self motivated person. Candidate must have excellent communication skills. Ability to do manual labor and lift at least 50lbs. Will be required to help with farm chores. Experience working with animals is preferred, but will train. Weekends and holidays are required.
