HILLMAN HORSEMANSHIP EQUESTRIAN ACADEMY
We've been loving the feedback from our class takers!
Heres a few words from them!
Vivian: "it’s really fun. We learn all about caring for horses; all the rules to keep everyone safe, the names for all the tack and how and what to feed the horses. I want to have horses one day and this will teach me what I need to know."
Jenny: "I’ve never really spent time around horses and don’t ride, but I know I’m going to get horses one day and this class is helping me learn what I will need to know to keep us all safe and cared for."
Ellen: "I've been a horse fan for quite a few years so it's tempting to think I know a fair amount, but the academy has been a great chance for finding out just how much I don't know. I'm really enjoying learning and reinforcing a wide variety of topics, including recognizing body language and herd dynamics, safe feeding practices, poisonous plants (and bugs!), and good haltering/leading technique. It's also been a fun balance of informational and more active hands-on learning. Looking forward to more sessions!"
Kate: "I enjoyed how we learned about pasture etiquette with the horses and how they interact with each other as a heard and who the leaders are. It was fun learning how to do a quick release knot to keep the horse safe and why they are important. Im excited to keep learning new material that helps me confidently take care of horses and become a better equestrian"
