Over the past year I have spent a lot of time working with dried flowers. I initially thought that you didn’t have to do anything special to get dried flowers to look good, but I was wrong! I’ve learned so many little things that have drastically improved the appearance and durability of the flowers.

Thank you to everyone that took a chance on my dried flowers over the past couple years when I was just starting to experiment with them. You’ve given me the opportunity to continue to improve and learn. I’m super happy with what they have become!

Today I sent off my first dried flower wedding bouquets! They were a labor of love, but I learned so much through the process and would love to do more in the future. 💐🌿
A majority of the blooms were all grown in my backyard during the 2024 season, and others were supplemented by my sweet friend

I love how colorful they are and it makes me happy to know that they can be easily enjoyed for years after the wedding day. 🤍

It might be negative temps outside, but I’m already thinking about seed starting!

I’ve been working on modifying my seed starting set up in my basement and have it almost ready to go! Any seeds that I start indoors are planted into small soil blocks. This means I can fit thousands of seedlings in a small space and don’t have to use those annoying plastic plug trays! They might be small when they go into the ground, but they grow just as quickly and healthy as any other transplant!

One of a kind art that is completely handcrafted and ready to hang in your home. I’ll be adding this design to the website later today! There will be a limited amount since they’re a labor of love.
Each solid wood round is cut out, sketched, wood burned, painted, sealed, and gets hardware attached.
I have several different botanical designs that I’ve made hanging around my house similar to this. They just simply make me happy. I especially love hanging them in spots where I can’t put houseplants or flowers.

Welcome to my little corner of the world that revolves around flowers🌸

I hope you find the same peace and joy here that I find when I’m growing and arranging flowers.

A little about me if you’re new…
• This is my second year with Gracie’s Botanicals, but I’ve been growing for years. I started off with a small vegetable garden, then started collecting way too many houseplants, and then converted our whole backyard into garden beds.
• I decided to start a flower farm after growing flowers for my own wedding. After growing a crazy amount of flowers that year, I couldn’t imagine not doing it again the next!
• I went to school for horticulture. I love plant science and sharing my love for plants with other people.
• I work at a local school to bring agriculture awareness to the younger students.
• We have a sweet pup named Peanut. He showed up on our road one day and has become the perfect farm pup. He particularly loves greeting everyone and riding in equipment.

Here’s a glimpse at some of the beautiful botanical goodies that will be in the stand tomorrow for Fall at the Flower Stand. 🌿🌸

Everyone’s had a busy month with work, vacations, back to school prep, gardens, life, etc. Take a minute to soak in all the beautiful things going on. 🌻🌿🌸

I made this flower stand because I wanted to share flowers with my neighbors and community. Whether you need flowers for a gift, a special occasion, or just for yourself, you’ll definitely find all different colors, shapes, and sizes in the stand. It looks like we might have a warm Saturday coming up which means…..houseplants will finally make an appearance! I love flowers, but if you take a step into our house you’d clearly see that there’s a bit of a houseplant obsession too.🪴

The Farm Hop is coming up quick! I wanted to take the chance to introduce you to our new flower stand, how it works, and the colorful flowers and plants that you’ll be able to shop next weekend. It’s officially seed starting time!🌻🌸🌼 Yesterday I started perennial yarrow in my mini soil blocks. These guys will spend a couple moths growing indoors before they’re planted outside. I’ll be planting a little more almost every week over the next several months. Just wait until you see how cute these plant babies are.🌱
