Today is one of my favorite days of fair. Watching the kids learn that efforts reap rewards. Our clients' kids are doing a good job. Many hand shakes, cookies/goodies and smiles. We feel blessed to help the community. Happy closing day to the Crawford County Fair 2025. Tonight might be hard to see those animals leave but caring for animals makes us better humans! ❤️

Fair week is next week. Thank a farmer, an FFA supporter, a 4H advisor. Enjoy kids being off of technology to spend time with friends and their animals. Soak in summer. We will be open regular hours but limiting to sick patients next week.

We get questions about supplements a lot. Things to consider would be that supplements are not FDA approved and watch for products without clear dosing instructions. Xylitol is also a dangerous ingredient for pets that is in some "gummy" or "natural" products that can be consumed by people but drops blood sugar to dangerous and even deadly lows in dogs!

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has issued warning letters to three companies—Bailey’s Wellness, Holista, and House of Alchemy—allegedly selling unapproved cannabis-derived products for pets.
