Edgewater Animal Hospital will be closed Monday, May 27th in honor of Memorial Day. We will reopen on Tuesday at 8 am.

♥️ Share the love this February! ♥️
We are holding a pet food drive at Edgewater Animal Hospital. All donations will be given to Rockbridge Animal Alliance.

With their help we have been able to give much needed medical care to several patients this year. This is a way for us, along with our community to give back and show our appreciation.

Please bring new, unopened dog or cat food to Edgewater Animal Hospital and help us help them!

In continuation of our week long celebration of National Veterinary Technician Week, we would like to celebrate Charissa Morris, LVT. Charissa began her career at Edgewater in the summer of 2015 as a veterinary technician extern, and we were fortunate to keep her as a full time LVT upon graduation in 2016.
Charissa is a one-of-kind, hardworking , passionate leader, who is dedicated to the care and wellbeing of you and your pets. Behind the scenes, she wears many hats at the veterinary hospital. Help us show her how much we appreciate all she does to keep the hospital moving smoothly and efficiently everyday.

Today we would like to recognize another beloved Licensed Veterinary Technican: Autumn Huffman.

Autumn began working at Edgewater while still in high school, and luckily has never left! She graduated from BRCC in 2021, and has been a wonderful addition to our team.

Autumn is one of the sweetest and kindest people you will ever meet and she shows your pets so much love everyday. Be sure to let Autumn know how much she is appreciated this week as we continue to celebrate our technicians.

Today we would like to honor our very own Mary Repair, LVT.

Mary has worked as a licensed technician for 15 years! She joined the team at Edgewater in 2017 and has brought so much knowledge and enthusiasm to the practice.

It’s that time of year again!

We are collecting donations for Kitty Care, an organization that donates money and resources to pets in need and their families.

We have used these funds many times to help out with medical costs for our clients’ pets.

Please consider making a donation of any amount! We can take cash or checks(made out to Kitty Care).

If your pet has surgery scheduled at Edgewater Animal Hospital tomorrow: Monday, June 13th, please do not show up.

Due to unforeseen circumstances we will have to reschedule your pets’ surgery. We will be calling the affected clients as soon as we open tomorrow to get them rescheduled.

We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause, and we will do our best to take care of your pet’s needs as soon as possible.
