1.5 year-old Hound Mix Clyde was recently placed in a foster home with kids and has been doing well! Here is what his foster has to say:

"He’s doing great, he is just so sweet. He tends to sniff everything on walks, but if you walk fast he’ll keep going. He likes to wait at the window until we get home, he got caught on the table looking out the window 🤣"

If you are interested in meeting Clyde, fill out an application at ark-valley.org so the foster can bring him in for a meet-and-greet!

Ferdinand is looking for a new home.

"6ish year old mixed-breed neutered male. According to a Royal Canine genetic health analysis he is a American Staffs. Terrier, Belgian Malinois and Shepherd mix. Hasn’t been around cats or livestock. He has met children and did ok, I think he’d do well with children with dog experience. He is very tolerant of people including medical procedures at the vet. He loves other dogs, but needs slow introductions with new dogs. In the past he has done okay if the dog was on the other side of a fence for a while first or in a neutral place like dog park or staying at a kennel. We board him sometimes which has other dogs and never got a bad report, but I think they are slowly introduced into the main area with the other dogs. He is more reactive when he is on a leash and will pull, bark. He would do okay as an only dog but would love a sibling. He is a former street dog from Guadalajara, Mexico. Fully vaccinated and microchipped. Has some allergies/sensitive skin. Crate trained. Knows several commands including sit, stay, lay down, give paw and roll over."
