🌟Meet Vicki and Dolly! 🌟

🐾 They’ve been a certified therapy dog team since December 2023, sharing love and comfort with those in need. Outside of therapy work, they enjoy walks, playing fetch, and Dolly loves playing tug-of-war with her Golden Retriever sister! 🐕💖 At just 2 years old, Dolly is already very loving and has learned so quickly. She’s Vicki’s bundle of joy and also has a special love for Culver's pup cups! 🍦💕

🌟Meet Michelle and Jager!🌟

🐾 They’ve been a certified therapy dog team since November 2022, bringing joy and comfort to those in need. Outside of their therapy work, they enjoy walks, some agility training, and trick dog work. Jager’s favorites? He eats just about anything, loves rubber chicken toys, and, of course, going for walks! 🐕💖

After a summer off, Tucker was thrilled to be back at UNW for a therapy dog visit in September! 🐾🎉 Monica’s new HHP shirt looks sharp too! 😎🐕 It was a great day of spreading joy and making new friends.

🌟Meet Missy and Desi 🌟

🐾 They've been a therapy dog team since 2023, spreading love and comfort wherever they go. Outside of therapy work, they enjoy walks, playing fetch, eating popcorn, reading, and snuggling. 🧸 Desi’s favorite toy is a stuffed animal, her favorite treat is a cheese stick, and her favorite activity is going for walks. Desi’s loving spirit makes her a wonderful therapy dog and companion! 💕

Last weekend our members had MUCH better weather and had a great time ringing bells for the Salvation Army at Cabela's in Rogers, MN!!

Gracie was all snuggled up and sleeping like an angel on the way home from a fun therapy dog visit at UNW back in September. 🐾💤 The team had a busy day, meeting over 60 students and staff, all of whom loved spending time with the dogs. 🐕❤️

🌟Meet Mary and Abby! 🌟

🎉 They passed their therapy dog test in July 2024 and are ready to make a difference! Outside of their therapy work, they enjoy walks, car rides, and visiting friends and family. Abby even helps with mowing the lawn while chasing sticks! 🌿🐾 Her favorite activities include fetching light-up bouncing balls, playing keep-away, and hide-and-seek. Every day, Abby gets her special treats: a yogurt container lick in the morning and a frozen Kong with peanut butter and a milk bone at 8:00 pm. Abby’s unconditional love and joyful spirit make her an amazing companion, and she's going to be a fantastic therapy dog at the high school and beyond! 💕

Back in September, Joan, Nancy, and our furry friends, Hubble and Brady, visited the residents of Edgemont Place, a Memory Care facility. As they arrived, they discovered a woman moving her mother in that very day! While helping them get settled, Nancy had a little mishap trying to open the door (turns out she needed to turn the handle down!). The moment turned into laughter, and the woman, with a smile, asked, "What room is yours here?" It was a heartwarming and fun way to welcome a new resident, share some joy, and brighten their first day! 🐾❤️

First up,🌟 Meet Edgar & Nancy! 🌟

When they’re not bringing smiles to others as therapy dog and handler, Edgar and Nancy love exploring the world together! 🐾

Edgar is a 3-year-old standard parti poodle, and while he's super excited about his therapy work, he's also a big fan of a few other things—like FOOD (seriously, he LOVES it!), going for car rides 🚗, and strolling through beautiful state parks! 🌳 They make the perfect duo for road trips and outdoor adventures! 🌄

Fun fact: Edgar is also in training to be a service dog for balance and mobility, and to help alert for diabetes. He’s not just a cuddly companion, but a superhero in the making! 🦸‍♂️

Yesterday a handful of our members braved the cold and volunteered to ring bells for the Salvation Army Red Kettle Campaign! If you missed them yesterday more members will be back at Cabela’s in Rogers next week Saturday December 7th, 2024 from 11-1!
