Finally got our first U. sikorae eggs! And apparently I missed the spot because there were two clutches. This female was laying duds last season so very excited to see what comes from this pair.

Just a quick partial tail amputation for Miss Pocket Sand here after her idiot owner accidentally closed her tail in a door (it's me, I'm the idiot).

While cresties have tail autotomy so can lose their whole tail, it doesn't regrow. The tail can help with normal mobility, so preserving as much of it as possible is better for long-term care.

Managed to get our hands on a copy, so doing some reading today as we prep for some hopeful future projects. Appropriate preparation is key, especially when dealing with less established species.

Caught these King's monitors (V. kingorum) out basking today. These guys are one of the smallest monitor species, but have a big personality. I am so excited to work with this species and hoping to get some eggs this season.

Unplanned, but finally made it to our first reptile show! It was awesome to finally be on the vending side and can't wait to do it again. So many geckos off to new homes, and picked up this granite line male to pair up with our last female! Shout out to Buffalo Pet Supply for letting us tag along (and buying a couple uncommon geckos for the shop)!

Eustace out and about during some tank maintenance today. His babies have his same awesome contrast.

Set up this bioactive 2'x2'x4' zen habitats for this new male Uroplatus fimbriatus. This is a wild caught male and we suspect the tail curl is due to stress and dehydration. Ideally this improves with proper care.

Also shoutout to zen habitats for the killer customer service. Two panels came in broken and they were super helpful and got them replaced right away.
