Off Leash K9 Training is an off-leash dog training business teaching 100% obedience to dogs of all breeds, sizes, and ages. We specialize in private lessons, dog behavior consultations, and teaching owners to understand why their dogs do the things they do in order to create a strong bond between the owner and dog. We thrive off of seeing the joy in both the dog’s and the owner’s faces when they h

ave mastered a new command without the restriction of a leash. By the end of our training, your dog will be trained to have the same level of obedience as most police/military working dogs.

‼️Other people’s dogs are not yours! You do not have an absolute right to pet just any dog you see.
Ask the human first if it’s ok and then it must be up to the dog! Learning your own dogs body language and cues is extremely important when allowing strangers into their space! ‼️

Newfoundland! These gentle giants:

🦴 Make wonderful family companions ; great with children and other animals
🦴 Males can get up to 150lbs, Females up to 120lbs
🦴 Gentle temperaments make them ideal Therapy Dogs
🦴 Originally bred for pulling carts and hauls for fishermen in Newfoundland, Canada
🦴 Their thick, oily, water resistant coat make them excellent water dogs, often used for water rescue

Newfies are a great breed and are a great dog to consider for first time dog owners! They are loving in nature and easily trained. Because these big guys only live 8-10years, make sure you do your proper research and look for a reputable breeder that test for health and temperament. 💯☺️ You’ll never be short on love with a Newfie! 🥰
