😰 BeFUR he became a Club Pawsh client, he was another dog who was "PURRoblematic" for getting his nails done.

Pink FURiday is a national movement made for small businesses to shine on their own so they don’t get overshadowed by the big box stores on Black FURiday. We get it - the HOWLidays create so much noise around commerce that it’s easy to FURget us littles.

So Club Pawsh has joined the initiative to help give your fur babies the care they need on top of all the PAWSome presents you’re already planning to buy them!

Announcing the Club Pawsh Pink FURiday sale! Starting at 12:00am & ending at 11:59pm on 11/22/24, ALL apPAWntments scheduled for your fur babies, regardless of size or breed, will be honored at the lowest rate we’ve ever had: only $75/hour (plus tax)!!!

Yes, you’ll still pay the estimated 50% dePAWSit, based on their breed & size (which is always based on fur babies who are healthy, well-adjusted to the grooming PURRocess, & professionally maintained every 4 weeks or less), but uPAWn completion of their apPAWntment, everyone will be honored at the $75/hour rate. There is a limit of 1 PURR fur baby & the Sibling Discount cannot be combined with this ofFUR.

High Society Club Members may also take advantage of this ofFUR if they would like to add an additional apPAWntment to their existing schedule!

The fastest way to book an apPAWntment is to submit a request through the Club Pawsh app or if you’re an existing member with a card on file, you can simply text me at 845-6-CATDOG.

Due to the anticipated high volume of calls/texts tomorrow, please make sure to check your zip code with the pinned photos to make sure to request your apPAWntment on a day that I service your area to avoid needing to be rescheduled. As always, all canines are required to be PUP-to-date on the rabies & DHLPP vaccines & felines are required to be PUP-to-date on the rabies & FVRCP vaccines by time of service & any vet apPAWntments must be completed no less than 1 week prior to the requested date. You still have 48 hours prior to your apPAWntment to reschedule/cancel in order to receive a full refund. Anyone without a current Bordetella vaccine who does not book the last apPAWntment of the day will incur a $42.50 UV Fee to give time for the salon to be sanitized.

📬 Look what came in the mail today!

🧼 Traditionally, most groomers, myself included, get their start as a bather apprenticing at a grooming salon.

🛍 In recent years, more groomers start in big box stores with their own training programs & there are a handful of reputable brick & mortar grooming schools that are gaining lots of popularity for students.

💻 There's also online certification programs that have been booming since the pandemic (many of which only teach theory, as no actual handling is required to pass).

🙅🏼‍♀️ But there are NO STANDARDS across the board for licenses or certifications to become a groomer.

😯 I wasn't even aware continuing education existed until about 8 years into my career!

👩🏼‍🏫 This is why it is SO imPAWtant for groomers to continue to seek out knowledge from reputable sources.

🤷🏼‍♀️ Other professions have required continuing education to keep their jobs, so why shouldn't those entrusted with your fur baby's health & wellness also be held to something similar?

🐾 Facts:

✅️ Science has come a long way in understanding Canine & Feline hair & skin in recent years
✅️ There have been many new developments in grooming tools for both efficiency & comFURt (for both groomer & fur baby alike)
✅️ Science has also shed some fascinating light onto intellectual & emotional development of canines

💁🏼‍♀️ Sadly, many people take the, "I know all I need to know to keep doing what I'm doing" approach.

🤓 I get it. Change is hard. Furthering your education takes additional time & money. Who wants to go find out they've been doing something incorrect all along for X amount of years?

🌷 But it's in the discomFURt where we grow & become better.

💖 I've been working with geriatric fur babies for my entire career. Yet 11 years later, I still went & took the Geriatric Grooming Certification Class to keep myself in check & see if I could learn anything else to enhance their experience.

👩🏼‍🏫 This is why I also teach alongside these esteemed instructors at these very same industry events; I'm so passionate about passing on knowledge that will help us all be better.

🌈 Never stop learning! They're counting on us. They deserve better.
