Yesterday we lost one of our pack. She was my best friend of 15 years. Zooey passed away in my arms. She put her head down on my shoulder and snuggled in one last time then let out a cry and she was gone.

I didn’t see this coming but I am so glad I had the last two days with her. I hope she knows just how loved she was.

I will be forever grateful for all the joy and happiness that she brought to our lives and I think I will be heart broken for the rest of my life. 💔
