“I appreciate seeing a dog on a muzzle!” I said, to a customer that came into the other day.

As this woman and I got to talking, she shared with me that she felt embarrassed for even having to get a muzzle because her dog is so lovely, just not when it’s time for her nail trims. The woman stated she wanted her groomer and her dog to be safe. I reassured her that a muzzle is a great decision, that she is being a responsible pet parent by getting a muzzle and that it truly will keep everyone safe… There is no shame in muzzles! I honestly respect seeing a dog in one! I also explained how fun muzzles can be and shared with her .muzzle.movement because she also came in with her exact measurements in hopes to find the best fit muzzle.

This woman left feeling much better about her decision and I couldn’t be happier that I could help her. I hope this story can help other pet parents too and help break the stigma/stereotype around muzzles.

I got word that this boy crossed the rainbow bridge yesterday🌈💛 2 years ago I went out to photograph Zeus as his family discovered he had cancer. It was an honor to capture these memories for them and to have met this gentle soul. Godspeed Zues⚡️

This is something I’ve been reminding myself of lately and figured more people may need to hear this too! Wherever you are in your journey, start the thing you’ve been putting off or scared to do. And as a remainder, it DOES NOT have to be perfect to start.

I was putting off creating a template for these little excerpts because of various reasons, but I’ve decided that it is more important to share my thoughts and knowledge with you rather than have the format of how I do so to be perfect from the start. I’m sure this format will evolve as time progresses (as does most things!) and I am totally okay with that now🙂

I saw this large black rock in the middle of the trail and I immediately thought to myself, “this rock is meant to have a dog posing on it!” (Does anyone else think similarly?🤣). The dog (& his humans) that fell victim to my vision is Toby, and he executed his unexpected job splendidly.

Cuyahoga Valley NP is quite dog friendly; highly recommend for a day or weekend trip to explore this place!

Had 0 intentions of getting my camera out today, but on a drive to a friends house, I could not ignore the weather conditions. I was hoping it would’ve been a *bit* more foggy on the shoreline, but when we got there, the wind starting picking. Regardless, it was fun to get out and shoot again📸🐾
