Incorporate a small “payment” door into the slots on your boxes. Paying the dog at source will help him focus his sniff and alert where it needs to be. These dogs will never focus up toward the door waiting for a decoy to pop out.

Not to be outdone by his bigger brother, this guy also patrols the inner walls of a maximum security prison in MN. Anyone inmate who decides to assault staff will quickly wish that he did not get out of bed that day once this K-9 arrives on the scene. Intense? Yup. But as you can see, super social and obedient.
4 month old Leo learning how to use his nose. Leo will be a single purpose detection dog and will be in the spring class of 2025. This guy is going to kill it!
K-9 CHICO running place boards like a champ. No e-collar pressure. Putting the GSD in the class to shame! Fun to watch this guy work
K-9 & twins
Lots to say about this. First, please do not do this with your new working dog until you REALLY get to know him and have properly introduced and socialized him with the young one(s). You will know when the time is right to try this, or NOT try this. Ask for help if you are unsure how to introduce the kids to your new dog. This demonstrates one of the positive outcomes of making your dog part of the pack. I know that many handlers and trainers are not fans of keeping the working dog inside with the family. To be sure, some dogs are not well suited for this scenario. However, if you select dogs who are social in the first place you will have better odds of making him part of your family.
