Unboxing video!!!

Come check out all my merch and critters this sunday in North Tonawanda 10am-5pm. I will have more critters than just axolotls available too. At least 4 other species, im not telling you everything. You gotta come out to see what I'll have ;) Lots of cool animals from amphibians to arachnids and geckos to frilled dragons! Come see what's crawling around. Check out a lecture by a pro. Great time for the family outing or bring your sweety and make them buy you a new friend 🤣 hope to see you all there!

1 week from today! Come say hi and check out the community and the sweet critters and merch, plants, oddities and educational lectures about your favorite critters and more! I'll be doing my presentation at 1pm (I think) , Axolotls 101. Learn some interesting facts; from their Aztec roots to their amazing abilities and basic care.

In addition to axolotls and the sweet merch (I'll have a few new items!), I'll have some african pygmy mice and some baby eurydactylode Vieillardi's chameleon geckos available too!

Freshly hatched E. Vieillardi's chameleon gecko! I had to rush to get it into a safe enclosure cuz I just fed mom some crickets so she was in hunting mode. I'll be cleaning up the enclosure and getting others rearranged soon.

In case you weren't aware, I've been working with this species for about 3 years. The first year no one hatched. Year 2, I had three hatch but only 1 survive past the 1st shed. This year, so far, I've had 6 hatch as of today, and only 1 that didn't make the 1st shed. Hoping this little one will do well too!

This weekend!!! I'll be there Saturday and Sunday for sure! Slight chance of doing it Friday but doubtful. I won't have many critters with me since this is an outside venue. The absolute best part of being a breeder is seeing those adorable, freshly hatched babies! He/she is hanging out with it's apx 6 week old sibling. I love these guys so much! Even the baby is chill enough to handle. They are the bestest of the tiny reptile world 😉

Today I got to help my family at their alpaca farm. Every year I help with the shearing and absolutely love it! They make the silliest noises and are just sooo soft! It's insane how much fleece they grow over a year. They go from a ball of fluff to looking like a sad deer 🤣 but they're very happy tho to feel the breeze again on their skin.

I would like to address something from yesterday's expo and also apologize. I had purchased a skinny axolotl from another vendor a few weeks back. I wanted to fatten it up and add it to my breeding pool. However after caring for it for 1 week, it was clear it was the wrong morph. I waited 3 more weeks to get him a bit fatter. Unfortunately I should have waited a few more weeks to fatten him up more. Now I have been blasted and I completely understand why. I apologize and will be more mindful of releasing rehabs too soon. Since it was send to me to shame me, im going to assume its ok to share with everyone and take responsibility.

I'll have one adult male wild, one adult male hypo-mel copper and one of the rarest axolotls you will ever see! NAG, non albino golden! I'll also have a few other critters available too ;) I have some african pygmy mice 1.2, a female eurydactylode vieillardi chameleon gecko and a female brazilian short-tailed opossum!!!

1st clutch is hatching! This is a leucy dominant clutch. They love their blackworms!

The split mosaic baby is doing great! It's hit a solid 2+ inches. The more this baby grows the more fascinating it is to me! It's spilt down the middle, half gfp & half non gfp. However as u go down the gfp side losses it's gfp characteristics on that side and there's a little strip of gfp on the non gfp side of the tail! So weird!
