Training your dog can be challenging, but don't get discouraged!
Some dogs may greatly benefit from the expertise and support of a certified trainer – especially if they are experiencing behavioral issues. These issues can worsen over time and pose a safety risk to others.

‼️WARNING‼️ this post might be disturbing to some as it shows a close up of a tick we pulled off of Otis a few weeks ago. 🪳🪳 He came in for a regular check up and we discovered it burrowed in his ear! Luckily, the technician and doctor were able to remove it and in about 6-8 weeks we will run a blood test to see if he contracted any tick-born illnesses. 🩸 Testing immediately after finding a tick can give inaccurate results, so that is why we have to wait about 2 months before testing. Even tho this guy seems big, he was burrowed pretty good into Otis ear. Ticks are great at hiding!! This post is a fantastic reminder to stay up to date on your pets flea and tick medication! And to always come to your yearly exams because you never know what we might find🩷 Call our office to make an appointment for an exam to ensure you can stay up to date on all your flea and tick needs! 🏥📞
National Pet Hydration Awareness Month
Stay cool, stay hydrated! 💧🐾
July is National Pet Hydration Awareness Month, reminding us to keep our furry friends refreshed and revitalized during the summer heat to help prevent dehydration and/or heatstroke. Remember to provide fresh water and shade, especially during outdoor adventures. Let's keep those tails wagging and tongues lapping with plenty of H2O!
Please share to help spread awareness!

Meet Duckie!🦆 Duckie is a very special kitty because she has a condition called cerebellar hypoplasia (CH). CH is a common, non-progressive and non-contagious nervous system disorder that affects the part of the brain that controls balance, coordination and fine motor skills. Thats why you’ll see in the video below that Duckie seems like she is a little unbalanced and making sudden jerky movements.
This condition can occur in cats whose momma cats were infected with a virus during pregnancy. Keeping cats vaccinated prevents this virus. Fortunately for any affected kittens, they often live long and happy, if a little wobbly, lives. Duckie being a perfect example of this living her best and silliest life🐱🦆🩷
