Big changes. As most of you know, I am a nursing student. However over the summer I made the decision to make a BIG switch. I started the enlistment process for the Air Force. My ship out date is November. Due to this I will not be taking on new clients right now and my availability will be very limited on a day by day basis.

This sweet boy is looking for a home. I have posted, had him checked for a microchip, and walked him downtown after a tip on Facebook that his owners might be a drifter couple. He is sweet, already neutered, has not had any accidents inside, has not barked, and has done well being left alone for extended periods of time. He is not skittish with men or women, has not reacted towards any dogs he’s met, and walks pretty well on a leash. The only things I have not had him interact with are children and cats. I’m unaware of his vaccine status and can not afford to vaccinate him before sending him to a new home. No fleas or ticks and a healthy weight. I am a full time college student and work 40 hrs a week, it is not in his best interest for me to keep him. I do not want to surrender him to animal control since they’re currently euthanizing and I know a lot of the shelters are full. If you or anyone you know is able to take him, that’d be extremely appreciated.

Now opening up weekends. Friday afternoons-Mondays/Tuesdays. Updated prices: 3, 1 hr drop ins $60 or $20/per 1 hour drop in if less or more required. $75/night for overnight. Those who have already booked, old prices applied.

As the year comes to a close, I’d like to thank everyone for their support and entrusting me with the care of your animals. As some of you know, I’ve been in college the past few years with the hopes of completing nursing school. I’ve been accepted and registered for classes. After a lot of thought, I’ve decided that I will have to at least suspend my pet sitting for the spring semester. I will be too busy and classes will be too long for me to properly watch your babies. I’m so thankful for the opportunities, people, and pets I’ve met along the way. I will update should circumstances change and pet sitting becomes doable again.

October: 25-31 open

November: 6-9, 13-16, 27-30 open

December: 18-24, 26-31/into January open

Not sure this will reach who it needs to, but maybe it will. I’m sitting in Whitehouse this week and driving down the road came across something very unfortunate. 3 dogs hit. A large black and white dog, medium tan dog, and brown (possibly brindle) small/puppy. If you know of anyone missing dogs that match this description, they were on HWY 110 somewhere around Mixon Road or 344. 😔

At A Dog House in a Flint, Tx

It’s time!! This coming Saturday and Sunday we will have our first event in our new 50 foot pool!!! So excited, want to touch base on some of the details!!!

Visitors are welcome!!! Want to join our crew and see what all the fun is about just come out and join us!!

We will have food truck, vendors and fun!!

Plenty of parking - RVs welcome if you want to boondock, sorry no utilities available but welcome to run your generator. Lots of room for tents and set ups.

If you need info on hotels or restaurants please just ask!

We will have time for some try it’s! I bet your dog can do that!!

Come by or call, everyone is welcome and it’s free to register with the UDD organization to start earning titles and prizes with your dog!!!!

Brown, male, pit mix with white spot on chest loose in Polana Springs. Will come up to cars, but run off when you open the door. He ran off before I could get a picture.

These 2 have been dumped or wandered over to the Bullard Middle School tennis courts/track. Friendly with people, have found tennis balls to play with. Brown one is male, brindle is female. Male looks quite underweight.

Last attempt to find my favorite coffee cup. It is Starbucks brand and looks exactly like the one in the pictures. Last place I could think of leaving it is at a puppy’s house. If you find it, I’d love to have it back as it matches my larger Starbucks cup and I’m not sure I can find it in stores anymore.

Happy National Dog Day!

If you don’t have a dog, or would like to add another one to your crew, I have 3 candidates!

Bonnie: aussie mix with a naturally docked tail. Very sweet, playful, cuddly, and confident. Dewormed and had first shots.

Clyde: aussie mix with a naturally docked tail. Also very sweet and playful and loves to be with his human. Shots, dewormed, microchipped (after he was returned due to unexpected circumstances in his previous home. They wanted him to have more exercise than they could provide at the moment.)

“Dam” Charlie: My fellow Bullard people may know of her as several of you came together when she was dumped over by the dam. She is a sweet, but shy lab mix.

Well, Finn (formerly Clyde) went off to his new, amazing home this morning! Thank y’all so much for the support and shares. I couldn’t be happier with who his new mama is ❤️

Please don’t forget we’re still look for a home for precious Miss Bonnie. She is the brown and white dog in the pink life jacket in the last picture. She has an amazing personality, is confident, playful but cuddly, and gets along well with other dogs.

UPDATE.. . . TIA HAS BEEN FOUND. She is safe back home with her foster mom in our rescue.

MISSING DOG...... from N Irene Street in Longview. Tia was adopted from Furr Ever Pets Rescue today. When her new family went home and got out of the car, Tia jumped out of her new mom's arms and took off. She is wearing a collar and had a blue and white plastic rope leash attached. She is a timid dog and is very scared. Please contact Ione Fried at 903-918-3213 if you see her.

Well Clyde found a home! Now to find sweet, sister, Bonnie one! She’s a gorgeous aussie mix with a naturally docked tail. Has had her first set of shots, dewormed, and deflead. She’s so so sweet and loves to cuddle but will also play. She also likes to swim! Don’t miss out!
