Super cute adoption update - Bella❤️

Bella, our sweet little kitten, was adopted by Dad Ashley, Mom Rhiannon and their daughter Ryann. For her third birthday, Mom and Dad let Ryann pick out her very own kitten — and she chose Bella.

This little girl absolutely stole our hearts. And yes… we spoiled them both rotten — the daughter and the kitten!

The picture says it all: a beaming little girl, holding her new best friend and looking happier than ever.

Our friends at The Gear Guy have poured their hearts into the 5th Annual Gear Guy Christmas Raffle benefitting the Bulverde Area Humane Society, serving Bulverde, Spring Branch, and Canyon Lake – but ticket sales are down, and we are in desperate need of your support.

They’ve spent countless hours gathering very generous donations from our amazing local businesses, creating a truly exciting list of prizes… now we need our community to step in and help make all that hard work worth it.

He’s a 33-lb Corgi/Retriever mix (DOB 4/2/20) who’s calm, snuggly, and loves being your constant companion.

Perfect on a leash. Easygoing. Pure sweetness.

After losing his owner, he’s ready for someone new to call family.

Adoption Update:
Nutella now Sally! 🐾💛

We received this lovely update from Sally’s new family and are so happy to share it!

Sally (formerly Nutella) is absolutely amazing – so sweet and playful. She quickly became best friends with their two‑year-old black cat Jack, and the two of them now sleep together on the bed every night. 🖤🐱

Sally is full of love and clearly adores every member of her new family: their son, who recently came home from the army, as well as their twin four‑year‑old grandbabies. She truly loves everyone she meets. 💕

We are so grateful to hear that Sally is happy, playful and loved in her new home!

Luna is around 8 years old and has been with us for about 3 years. Her personality is as unique as her look — she’s not your instant-snuggle kitty, but she’s full of character and quiet charm.

Luna enjoys interacting with people, “chatting,” and being near you from a comfortable distance. She’s not a cat who needs constant closeness or attention — and some people truly appreciate the peaceful companionship of an independent cat.

She prefers gentle, limited petting and values her space. Luna would do best as a single cat, where she can fully relax and be herself. She might coexist with one mature, confident cat that respects boundaries — but her ideal home is one where she’s without other cats and without dogs.

✨ Every animal has a past, and some need patience, understanding, and someone who sees their worth beyond first impressions. Independent cats like Luna offer companionship in a soft, steady way — they don’t demand constant attention, yet they enjoy being part of your world.

Since we’re already in the heart of the holiday season, please help us bring Luna one step closer to her forever home. Even if you can’t adopt, sharing her story can make all the difference. 💛
