What a great weekend at the ARHA show in Carthage, Mo!! From ARHAs first ever youth Superhorse (Gentrie Davis), to multiple high point and reserve high point, to making memories with our greatest of families… Go Team BPH!!!

Practicing the stuff you suck at isn’t always fun. Sometimes it just down right taxing. The ranch roping has been my nemesis. I have over 375 points on this c**t this year alone and not a single one in the ranch roping. Time to change that!! Get out there and make your weaknesses your strengths!!

3yr old stud c**t Playing Blind building some confidence in the cutting pen!! With his limited works on cattle I’m super excited about where he is at!! He just keeps getting better and better! Hauled him to Dusty Whitfords cattle clinic this weekend to get another set of eyes! We learned lots and had a great time!!

Check out Anna Kate and her horse Finn! It wasn’t very long ago that Finn was having issues taking the correct leads and Anna Kate didn’t know them either. Through hard work they are now practicing flying changes!! I’m proud to have them on team BPH!! Keep up the great work , it’s starting to pay off!! Can’t wait to see you rock that novice youth division!!!

Buy the dang horse, take the lesson, attend the expensive clinic, haul to the freaking show, enter the new class, do the things that scare you the most and do them with the biggest smile on your face! I’ve heard every excuse in the book when it comes to advancing skills. The truth is, if you want to get better you have to get better at putting yourself in uncomfortable situations at times. Nobody progresses from the comfort of their couch!! You got this!!

Messages like this make my week! Kaylee and her horse Hallie putting down some 11’s!! I’ve been truly blessed with some pretty amazing people and horses in my life!! You can feel the excitement in the message. Pretty cool!!

I’m always proud of my team and their accomplishments but I’m especially proud of this post. It had been a long time in the making. Let me just preface it with both kids has a fantastic show but for the first time Gage was able to edge out his sister. I’m proud of you both!!
