Both graduated out of the X-rail division for the first time to try some 2’ classes at The Desert International Horse Park. Both were very, very successful!!

Congratulations to Sofia Agapitova! What an amazing Desert International Horse Park Circuit we have had so far!!

Week 1
Champion in the 2’9” Children’s Hunters on Contessa!
Champion in 2’6” Hunters on her new mount “Mossy”!

Week 2
2nd place out of a very large group in the 3’ Children’s on “Bostel”
Great ribbons on Mossy and Contessa!

Week 5
1st place out of 35 in the 3’ Children’s over fences and 3rd in the hack Contessa !
David rode Contessa to 3rd place in a very competitive 3’3” Green Hunter division!
“Mossy”was Reserve Champion in the Baby Green Hunters!
“Bostel” was 9th in the $1500 Children’s Classic!

Week 6
Sofia rides “Bostel” to 9th in the big $10,000 USHJA National Hunter Derby! And 4th in the $1500 Children’s Hunter Classic
“Contessa” and David win 2 over fences classes in the 3’3” Green Division and end up Reserve Champion!
Sofia rides to 8th on “Contessa” in the $1500 Children’s Hunter Classic! And David ends up 3rd in the $1000 Green Incentive class!
“Mossy” was Reserve Champion in the USHJ 2’9” Division!
We are grateful to Erin Duffy and Jose Jimenez for taking great care of us and allowing us to stable with them during the circuit!!
We will return Weeks 8 and 9!

Morning Mist Farm proudly offers “Chinchilla” for sale!! This brave mare is just turning 8 yrs old and has a proven record in the 3’ Hunters and Equitation and earning the LAHJA 3’ Green Hunters Reserve Championship in 2024! Having garnered numerous wins with Sally Mulroney as she has moved up from ponies through the 2’9”- 3’ divisions .. Chinchilla is currently showing in the 3’3” Greens and 3’ Children’s Division and can be seen and tried at Thermal weeks 5,6, 8 and 9! Please reach out to David for more information!!

Thank you to Tara Ardalan for all your help in finding this mare and bringing her into Sofias’ life!! And thank you Farrokh Moshar for your wisdom and advice!!!

What an amazing show we had at Flintridge last weekend!!

🥇Sofia Agapitova Winner of the $500 Children’s/Adult Hunter Classic on Bostel
David rode Bostel to Champion in the 3’ division and 3rd in the $5,000 USHJA National Hunter Derby!

Sofia was Reserve Champion in the Large Pony Hunters on Smallwood Special Effects!

🥇Sally Mulroney was Champion on her horse Chinchilla in the 2’6” hunters and David rode Chinchilla to the Championship in the 3’ Green Hunter division!

Amelia Kim was Champion in the X Rail Eq Division and Reserve Champion in the Hunters on Golden Girl!

Angeline Ouyang was 🥈2nd in several classes in the Xrail division on her horse Wonderpark!!

David rode Deb Meullner’s horse Sancho to 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th in the USHJA 2’9” division!!

What a great experience we had at Pony Finals 2024!! We had some ups and downs but everything is a learning experience! Sofia did an amazing job on her large pony Smallwood Special Effects with a score in the under saddle phase of 86!!
She also showed her horse Bostel earning amazing ribbons and scores in a very competitive Children’s Hunter group!! Lexington, Kentucky was a beautiful backdrop for a beautiful horse show!!!
