🌟 Honoring Service on Martin Luther King Jr. Day 🌟

"Life's most persistent and urgent question is 'What are you doing for others?'" – Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Today, we want to extend our deepest gratitude to the incredible volunteers, donors, and supporters who have answered this question with selfless action.

Since the start of the Los Angeles Wildfires, we’ve been humbled by the outpouring of support:
💪 Between 50-100 volunteers each day working tirelessly to support our efforts.
🛠️ A remarkable response with donated goods and supplies to help sustain our relief work.
💙 Over 400 individual donations to the Los Angeles Park Foundation, ensuring care for animals, people in need, and preparations for future emergencies.

Your compassion and dedication embody the spirit of Dr. King's legacy, reminding us all of the power of community and kindness. Thank you for being there when it mattered most.

Together, we are stronger. Together, we are making a difference. 🌎💚

Our amazing friends at interviewed General Manager Leigh Anne Claywell and others to bring attention to animal rescue needs during devastating disasters like the fires happening now across LA County.

The pitbull mix arrived at Pasadena Humane covered in ash, his paw pads ulcerated from walking on fire debris, his lungs choked with smoke. A good Samaritan found the dog lying in rubble in Altadena, wrapped him in a blanket and brought him to the shelter.
