Animal Control gets some pretty strange calls, but they are always here to help 👀😂 This sea turtle was very displaced and disoriented, but Officer Hall and Officer Peay helped her get right! Shelter staff got her detained and she is headed home! Team work😂😂😂 Happy Halloween 👻 🎃🐈‍⬛ Remember no chocolate for the pets! ❤️🐾

This sad lil’ puppers is covered in demodex mange🥺 However our amazing rescue partner has stepped up to help - will some one pay the pull fee for this sweet baby? 910-259-1484 ext 7! Sadly this rescue is stopping pulls for the rest of the year due to funding and dwindling fosters with the holidays… NC Seaside Animal Rescue pulled 47% of the animals leaving our shelter this year (875 to be exact)! Yesterday we asked for sponsors to help with our packed shelter! This rescue also has some outstanding pull fees with us… if you can find it in your heart to help pay that down they may can still help a little here and there until the first of the year, like with this Demodex pup! 910-259-1484 ext 7

🆘 No more cat cages🆘💔🐾 Please adopt these 9 cats/kittens they are NO COST TO ADOPT! We desperately need open cages for the massive influx of animals coming in🥺 They are vaccinated, spayed/neutered, parasite treated and microchipped. Welcome Rocket! He is a 20ish year old TWH type gelding that was surrendered due to not being able to care for him. He saw the team at Reagan Equine MVS today and got all his vet care (shots, coggins, teeth and sheath) done. He has all his teeth, some were VERY long! He had some large beans in his sheath… hopefully now with some good vet care and nutrition he should bloom into the gorgeous fellow we believe he is! He will be available for adoption once his coggins comes back. Fee is negotiable to knowledgeable home! Email [email protected] for an application

The catastrophic damage from Hurricane Helene has overwhelmed the Asheville Humane Society, and countless animals are in desperate need of safety. We’re partnering with BISSELL Pet Foundation to rescue as many pets as possible, but we can’t do it without your help!

We need emergency fosters to help us take in these animals! If you’ve never fostered before, that’s okay! Fostering is completely free—Forsyth Humane Society will provide you with all of the supplies you might need to help care for one of these animals. Every foster home we can secure is another life we can save! 🐾❤️
