Microchip Your Pet Before The Holidays 🎄✅

Did You Know that pets with microchips are three times more likely to be reunited with their family?

Microchips provide your pet with a permanent ID that stays with them for life. If your pet goes missing, you are far more likely to find them if they are microchipped.

Prevent Big Problems With Spay & Neuter 👍✔️

Ensuring your pet is spayed or neutered is a crucial part of responsible pet ownership. Check out all the benefits:

☑️ Prevent Unwanted Litters: Spaying and neutering are the most effective ways to help control the pet population and reduce strays.

☑️ Can Reduce the Risk Of Cancer: Furry friends that are spayed or neutered are protected from uterine and ovarian cancer as well as testicular cancer.

☑️ Helps Reduce Unwanted Behaviors: Spaying or neutering your pet can help ease aggressive behaviors or accidents in the house.

We would like to introduce you to one of our cherished companions, Gaucho!

Gaucho's favorite activities include swimming and playing fetch. His biggest quirk is that if anyone that isn't him is receiving affection, he will insert himself into the situation and demand to be the one receiving said affection and thus has earned himself the nickname "Insertion".

Our team is thrilled to have Gaucho as part of our Burke Animal Clinic family! Thank you for being our star this , Gaucho! 📷✨️

Pet Food Safety: Thanksgiving Edition 🦃🐾

Thanksgiving is around the corner, but before you share your dinner with your pet — think twice!

While we all want to treat our pets during the holidays, the following foods can be harmful:

🚫 Turkey Bones
🚫 Onions
🚫 Garlic
🚫 Grapes/Raisins
🚫 Macadamia Nuts
🚫 Chocolate
🚫 Caffeine
🚫 Stuffing
🚫 Casseroles
🚫 Mashed Potatoes
🚫 Alcohol

➡️ Pro Tip: Fatty foods and seasonings can upset your pet's stomach and cause serious health issues.

Re-sharing for those who missed seeing this since we are at the halfway mark of our food drive!!!

Hello BAC family, and Happy Paw-lidays!

Thanksgiving is traditionally a time of reflection, gratitude, sharing, and giving to those in need. This holiday season, we are asking for help from the community in hosting a food drive for "Food for Others" to help feed 3,000 families. Every donation helps in the fight against hunger - no matter the size. We will have a designated drop-off spot inside the clinic in the lobby for the food donations.

The most needed items are:

-100% fruit juice
-Canned meat (chicken, beef, tuna)
-Canned tomato products
-Spaghetti sauce (avoid glass containers)
-Chef Boyardee
-Rice
-Mack & Cheese
-Chili or beef stew
-Peanut Butter & Jelly

Guidelines: (We are ONLY accepting donations during our normal business hours which will be posted below. We are unable to accept donations of items that are more than 3 years expired, opened items, food that is not labeled, homemade items, or cooked food.)

If you have any questions in regard to the food drive and how you can help, please give us a call or send us an email. We are looking forward to working together as a community and as a family to help feed those in need.

Hours of operation:

Monday - Friday: 7:15a - 7:30p
Saturday: 8:00a - 2:00p
Sunday: 9:00a - 12:00p
