The yearlings being offered have been worked with by TAMU students enrolled in the Animal Science 311 Colt Training course where the students learn about equine behavior and the application of principles in training. The areas of training emphasized are ground work, manners, maneuvering, round pen work, standing tied, trailer loading, and exposure to walking over tarps, through gates, and over poles and bridges.
The TAMU Equine Breeding Program is the product of years of selective breeding for athletic performance horses, and through generous industry support features some of the most prominent and popular performance bloodlines in the industry today. The program focuses on working cow horse, cutting, reining, and all-around ranch horses. Students enrolled in the Animal Science 420 Mare & Foal Management course and interns focusing on equine reproduction gain experience in stallion, mare, and foal management and procedures of artificial insemination and live cover utilizing University owned stallions and broodmares.

Ready to go any direction, versatility, boxing sorting or roping. Chexy has been in cow horse training since January 2024, and is with Sam Cheetham (Schmidt) and will remain with her until sold.
