It was a devastating day for Doxies Meet World. Our sweet Chai was hit by a car this afternoon after our lawn care crew left the gate to our backyard open, letting all 4 weens out. The driver of the car stopped and searched our neighborhood until they found us. Ollie, Stella and Hazel were found almost immediately and are safe.

With broken hearts, we are so incredibly sad to say that our sweet Chai did not make it. Her odds of recovery after surgery were just too bleak to risk. In addition to her pelvis injuries she had a crushed vertebrae which was too severe to fix surgically.
We are devastated beyond words.

Our sweet baby went to sleep in our arms, as we comforted her in her final moment. She was in a lot of pain but was able to give goodbye kisses as she so loved giving those puppy kisses.
We appreciate all the love and support you've all shown in this time of devastating grief.
Please continue to share your love for Chai as we will never stop sharing our memories of her.
She brought so much joy to our lives in the short time we had her. She was such a blessing to us and will never know how much she enriched our lives. We have found peace knowing that she was loved by so many of you and that she did not have to suffer for long.

Update:

Due to some unforeseen circumstances, Stella was not bred this heat. Our little family will be relocating to Michigan in July, and the stress of moving with a litter of pups was not going to be ideal for us or the dogs.

We are a little disappointed at having to postpone this litter, but will always prioritize the safety of our dogs first. We hope to have our next litter closer to the Christmas season this year so be sure to stay tuned for updates! We appreciate all of your love, support, and understanding🐾❤️

These sweet boys have been absolute troopers over these last few days. Pancake (Now Winston) is settling in nicely in his new home and did great for his first night in a new place! Waffle (new name TBA) has done so amazing traveling all the way from Texas to Tennessee to meet his new family coming from New Jersey! He is so excited to meet them tomorrow, so stay tuned to watch him get ready and meet his new family! 🐾💕

I can't believe these babies are headed to their new homes in the next few days! It's been such a crazy ride with these amazing kids. Soon they'll be off to new adventures! Valentine's Day is coming a few days early for some very lucky families 💕
