Timing, presence, and placement are everything when it comes to communicating with horses. It’s even better when the horse has more “whoa” than “go,” allowing us to teach in slow motion. Through this approach, we provide active military, veterans, and first responders with meaningful experiences that build trust and understanding.

We’re so grateful for the incredible dedication of our participants who support Front Line Equine in every way.

Rick, after being sent home from work due to the weather, came straight to the barn to help care for the horses in freezing temperatures. Erica spent her day off pitching in with administrative tasks to keep everything running smoothly.

Their commitment reminds us that Front Line Equine is more than a program—it’s a community built on service and teamwork. Thank you to everyone who gives their time and energy to make this mission possible!

Maj. Jason Pecore, USMC, will soon be deploying, and the Front Line Equine community stands ready to support him and his family during this time. We extend our heartfelt best wishes and gratitude for his service.

This serves as a sobering reminder of the service and sacrifice our military members, and their families, make every day. Front Line Equine is a community of active military, veterans, and first responders who understand and share in this commitment.

Safe travels Jason and thank you for your service to our country.

This holiday season has been a challenging one for our herd.

Before Christmas, JT developed an eye infection that could have cost him his eye. Eye infections in horses are always an emergency, so we sent him to Dr. Trish at Exclusively Equine for treatment. We’re relieved to share that JT is back home with his herd and doing well!

When we picked up JT, we brought Buck along because something just didn’t seem right. No fever, no lethargy—just a few signs that he wasn’t himself. Today, we received the difficult news that Buck is in liver failure. Thankfully, it’s treatable and we have a plan to manage his care once the crisis has passed. Buck is getting the best possible treatment with Dr. Trish and she’s on top of any new developments.

We want you, our supporters, to know that your prayers mean the world to us. Front Line Equine is a community, and we deeply value the connection we share with each of you. Please feel free to comment with any questions or concerns, we’ll answer them as best we can.

If you’d like to help financially with Buck’s care, we’ll include our mailing address in the comments for check donations. You can also make a donation via credit card on our website.

Thank you for standing with us as we serve veterans, first responders, and our beloved horses. Your support makes all the difference. ❤️

Happy New Year from Front Line Equine! 🎉

As we step into 2025, we reflect on the incredible journey of the past year. Together, we’ve made a difference in the lives of active military, veterans, and first responders through the art of horsemanship.

This year, we look forward to continuing to serve those who serve us. Whether it’s teaching horse behavior, building confidence in the round pen, or forming lasting connections, 2025 is already full of promise.

Thank you for prayers and support in 2024. Here’s to another year of healing, growth, and horsemanship!

Our deepest condolences to the family and friends of Officer Cooper Dawson. EOW November 25, 2024.
