This sweet girl was likely scared off by fireworks. She is a female dog wearing a pink collar and was found at Rosita Valley & High Noon, near Rosita Valley Elementary School.

🎆 NEW YEAR’S EVE PET SAFETY 🐾

• Don’t leave pets in the yard after dark. Fireworks and sparklers can be terrifying—keep them safely indoors.
• If you’re hosting a party, keep pets secured away from the front door as guests come and go.
• For anxious pets, create a quiet, comfy space like a kennel or bedroom where they can feel safe.
• Make sure your pet has an up-to-date microchip and is wearing a collar with current ID.
• Offer enrichment toys such as snuffle mats or puzzle toys to keep them busy and calm.

We’ve received a lot of inquiries about the adorable little chihuahua puppies we shared yesterday 🐾💛 We’re happy to let everyone know that these sweet babies are no longer in our care and have been tagged by our amazing rescue partner, AjK Family Rescue.

Once they are old enough, they will be available for adoption through AJK Rescue directly. Please reach out to their organization for adoption information and next steps.

We would like to extend our deepest thanks to Orphan Annie’s Neonatal Rescue for helping us network these precious little angels and giving them a chance to be seen by the right eyes. Your support makes an incredible difference and helps open doors that would otherwise remain closed for so many animals in need.

A huge thank you as well to AJK rescue for stepping up to tag them and for providing the love, safety, and care they so truly deserve. Knowing these babies are in compassionate, capable hands brings us so much comfort and hope.

Rescue work is never done alone — it truly takes a village. We are constantly reminded how fortunate we are to be surrounded by such a dedicated, selfless rescue community. Together, we are saving lives, one precious soul at a time, and we are endlessly grateful to be part of this amazing network of people who refuse to turn their backs on those who need us most. 🤍

This sweet mama is in desperate need of our help. She is nothing but skin and bones after enduring severe neglect, yet she gave everything she had to make sure her babies were fed and protected. Her body tells the story of sacrifice and survival.

To whoever chose to abandon this defenseless mama and her tiny babies on the highway: no living being deserves that kind of cruelty.

Nala is not out of the woods yet, but she is improving. She’s drinking water, nibbling small amounts of food, and showing quiet signs of strength, though she’s still very lethargic and fighting hard.

Without treatment, dogs with Parvo have less than a 10% chance of survival. With aggressive veterinary care—IV fluids, antibiotics, and anti-nausea medications—that chance rises to 68–92%. Because of your love, support, and donations, Nala is now on the road to recovery.

But Nala is not the only dog who needs this level of care. There are so many others just like her—innocent, sick, and depending on kindness to survive. These treatments are lifesaving, but they are also expensive, and we cannot do this work without continued support.
