Meet Baby Theodore & Olivia – A Purrfect Pair!

Two kittens are always better than one, and Theodore & Olivia are here to prove it! These bonded besties will be heading to their forever home together, bringing double the fun, love, and cuddles.

Olivia may start off a little shy, but give her some good wet food, and she’ll be your best friend in no time. Once she’s had her fill, expect her to settle in for snuggles before she’s off for another round of playtime! Her partner-in-crime, Theodore, has the same routine—eat, play, snuggle, repeat!

Theodore is a little lover with a whole lot of personality. He’s a playful troublemaker who cannot resist shiny things, but after a good zoomie session, he’ll charm you by sitting all prim and proper with his paws crossed. Whether he’s nudging you for pets, curling up for a cuddle, or chatting away, Theodore’s love knows no bounds.

These two are ready to find their forever family Queen City Cat Lounge! Start the adoption process by clicking the link in our bio.

⚠️ QCC adopts kittens in pairs unless there is already a cat in the home to help with their social-emotional and physical growth.

Handsome senior gentleman Henri is ready to charm his way into your home! He is a very affectionate snuggler and loves nothing more than to curl up with you and chat about his day. Henri is a calm, sweet guy around 11 years old and would appreciate nothing more than a peaceful retirement home for his golden years. He is a fantastic, doting companion and loves to be around his people.

This elegant long-haired coat isn't without effort! Henri's adopter needs to be prepared to brush him out completely every single day to maintain his luxurious mane. He also has a grade-three heart murmur that needs to be monitored as he ages. Despite this, Henri still has great quality of life and has lots of love to give. If you'd like to take in this sweet senior and shower him with all the love he deserves, fill out an application on our website and we'll schedule a time for you to meet him in foster.

Friesian is a tiny girl with a big personality! Despite her grumpy appearance, this is her happy face. 🙂 At just under nine months old, she is a social butterfly with people and other cats. She is very sweet and will weave herself between your legs, rubbing against you for affection. Friesian is also very food-motivated and smart, so she's a perfect candidate to teach a couple tricks to!

She's currently at Queen City Cat lounge, so schedule a visit to stop by and see how precious this little gal is in person. Friesian would be the perfect companion for any household with respectful kids or cats.

Ellie is a fluffy, long-haired beauty with just the right mix of sass and sweetness! She’s a pro at blending into cozy blankets (making her hard to capture on camera!), but once she warms up, she’s all about companionship, playtime, and mealtime chats. If you’re looking for a loyal sidekick with personality, Ellie is your girl!

Cutie patootie alert! Mississippi and Sabine are two tiny babies ready to find their new pawrent(s). They're a 3-month-old sibling duo that loves to play and get into all sorts of mischief together. Mississippi is a sweet grey and white boy who enjoys wrestling with his siblings and cuddling with his humans. Sabine is a beautiful grey girl who enjoys exploring and climbing into your lap for attention.

If you're ready to open you home to these high-energy cuties and watch their personalities develop, fill out an application and we'll schedule a time for you to meet them in foster care. These two are not bonded, but they get along swimmingly and would do well together in a new home and/or with an older feline sibling.

At Queen City Cats, we believe two kittens are better than one! We ONLY adopt our kittens in pairs unless their new home has another cat to support the kittens’ social-emotional growth. This applies as a general rule to all cats 6 months and younger - no exceptions! We will NOT approve applications for single kittens unless their adopter has another feline at home.

Bruce’s Fight for Life – and His Victory!

Bruce (formerly Puff) was rescued from the streets of Winooski in June 2024. After a rough start, he found a loving home and was on the mend—until his mom noticed his bloated abdomen. Emergency vets feared the worst: cancer or FIP. The prognosis was grim.

But Bruce’s mom refused to give up. She reached out to QCC, who connected her with a local FIP warrior. Thanks to this Good Samaritan’s time, guidance, and generosity in sharing their experience, Bruce was quickly started on life-saving treatment. The journey wasn’t easy—sleepless nights, vet visits, and many tears—but through it all, there was hope and love.

And now? Bruce is officially CURED of FIP!

QCC is sharing his story because FIP doesn’t have to be a death sentence. If you need guidance, we’re here to help. Part of our mission is providing education and resources to the community. Whether you’re a pet parent, neighbor, or local official, we’re ready to start the conversation and serve our community.

Peter has officially found his happily ever after! 🐾 His new family is amazed at how quickly he’s settled in—after just a couple of days, he was purring, playing, and claiming his spot as the ultimate lap cat. 💕 His favorite things? A cozy bed, a heated blanket, and his feather toy, of course! 🛏️🎣 Peter’s perfect manners and affectionate nature make him the ideal companion, and it sounds like both he and his new family couldn’t be happier. Wishing Peter all the love and warmth in his forever home!

Meet Tiny: the big guy with an even bigger personality! This handsome, green-eyed tabby boy is looking for a home where he can be king of the castle. Tiny is about six years old and adores people of all age ranges. He loves to play fetch, show his affection with headbutts, and hang out with his humans.

Tiny does not get along with other cats and would do best as the only kitty in his household. He is a little shy at first but with patience and treats, you can win his heart over. If you’re looking for a sweet, playful single cat - Tiny is your man!

Update: Chicken Noodle has been adopted! What’s the best kind of soup for the soul on a cold winter day? Chicken Noodle!

This large and snuggly 9-month-old guy is available for adoption and can be met at Queen City Cat Lounge this week. He’s incredibly gentle with other cats and kids, and is very playful and sweet.

Chicken Noodle needs to be on a regular meal schedule to ensure that he’s losing weight slowly and effectively. As much as we love him, it’s clear that free-feeding is not good for him. If you’d like to learn more about Chicken Noodle or submit an application to take him home, https://queencitycatsvt.org/adopt to begin the process!

Big meows of gratitude to pennyfix2017 for their incredible $2,000 spay/neuter grant! 🐾 This generous support has already helped QCC fix 24 local cats, tackling Burlington’s ever-growing stray, abandoned, and feral cat population head-on.

A huge shoutout to the amazing volunteer who saw the need and made this happen—it’s a game-changer not just for us, but for other local rescues who can also benefit from this grant.

P.S. Cat licensure is the talk of the town—literally. Burlington Town Council even held a public hearing on it last week! 🐈 Big thanks to btvparks for spreading the word and townmeetingtv for streaming it on Town Meeting TV’s YouTube. Check it out and join the conversation!

Also, quick poster update: the correction at the bottom should read, ‘They all need to be spayed and neutered!’ 🐾 Let’s spread the word and keep making a difference!

Kitten(s) 🐈 and Rainbow(s) 🌈 oh my! These two six-month-old cats are looking for the perfect barn, store or stable where they can do what they know best - hunting pests! Despite our best efforts over the last few months to socialize them, Kitten and Rainbow have made it evident that they aren't fond of human connection.

This however, doesn't mean that they don't have a full life of adventure ahead of them. Kitten (female tabby) is a laser-focused hunting machine, spending her days at the lounge practicing all of her epic moves on unsuspecting crinkle toys. Rainbow (male black cat) is the surveyor, scoping out his domain from a high perch. He is more skittish than his sister around people, but offers invaluable intel with his long-range tactics. Together this duo makes a perfect team ready to earn their keep by keeping your property rodent-free.

To see these cute hunters in action, they can be visited City Cat Lounge
