Have you heard about Maxwell? He's a four-month-old house-panther with a lot of love to give! While he is reserved around strangers, his heart can be won over with time and patience. Once he opens up to you, his true personality is one to behold! Maxwell is a playful little guy - always in motion with boundless energy. He is partial to being held and doesn’t like to be cradled, but he is eager to explore and play alongside you. Maxwell is a shy guy who needs a little more time to become accustomed to new places and new people.
At Queen City Cats, we believe two kittens are better than one! We adopt our kittens in pairs unless their new home has another cat to support the kittens’ social-emotional growth. Maxwell would do best in his new home with an outgoing, social kitty pal to teach him the ropes and build up his confidence. UPDATE: ADOPTION PENDING Sweet senior Molly is looking for her forever home! This gentle girl has a stunning gray tortie coat and mesmerizing green eyes that will melt your heart. She’s great with cats and kids, but we’re unsure how she’d do with dogs. Arya may be 7 years old, but she’s got the youthful energy of a much younger cat! This beautiful gray girl has the loudest purr and loves nothing more than following her foster from room to room. Arya is a total catnip fiend and will happily settle into a quiet home where she can be the center of attention—no other cats or dogs, please! She might feel a little nervous in new environments, but once she knows she’s home and has a warm lap to sit on, she’ll be your loyal companion.

Molly, a gentle senior cat at Queen City Cats, suffered from severe pain every day due to a heartbreaking dental condition. She struggled to eat, and even the simplest things brought her discomfort. Thankfully, the incredible team at Ark Veterinary Hospital and Dr. Koenitzer stepped in to help, performing two urgent surgeries that finally freed Molly from her pain.

While Molly is now healing and waiting for her forever home, the cost of her surgeries was $4,000. We’ve already given her the care she needed, but now we need your help to cover the cost. Congratulations to Memphis and his new family! 🎉 This sweet black cat has had a rough start, living as a stray and contracting FIV while on the streets. Without QCC’s intervention, his future was uncertain, but today we’re celebrating his fresh start in a loving home! We love all our cats, and we’re so happy Memphis found his forever family. 🖤

Molly is currently on an all-wet food diet and takes daily medication for hypothyroidism, but she’s easygoing and would do well in a home with other nice cats and respectful children. “Julian has been the perfect addition to our family! He snuggles with me every night, is loving, goofy, and always chatty. He still loves his treat puzzles and, funnily enough, his favorite toys are orange. Julian enjoys his naps, and though our dog is eager to play, Julian isn’t quite ready for that yet. He loves to tease by sitting just out of reach while our dog cries from the other side of the baby gate!”

We can’t believe Maverick is still waiting for his forever home! This charming black cat with a little white patch on his chest adores playing, indulging in catnip, and loves being brushed. He’s FIV+, so he’ll need to stay indoors, but he can live happily with other cats, FIV+ or not. FIV is only passed through deep bite wounds, which are a non-issue in a safe, loving home. Maverick has been waiting patiently—could you be the one to finally give him the love he deserves?
