Thought about adding music to this, but the leaves crunching under our feet (and paws), is music enough for me! 🍂🐕🐾

A message from your local “backyard breeder”
The backyard:
In all seriousness, many breeders' pups are born and raised in less-than-ideal conditions. This is unfortunate for many reasons. Sadly, the poor health of the puppies, lack of socialization, little human interaction, and unclean environments are a common reality. Anyone can breed puppies, but it takes time, dedication, research, testing, and literal blood, sweat, and tears to produce healthy, well-socialized, and confident puppies.
I researched breeding for two years, found a wonderful mentor, and genetically health-tested our puppies' parents before we had our first litter. When folks reach out to me inquiring about a puppy and I tell them that our pups get lots of socialization, this is what I mean. We actually spend a LOT of time with these sweet babies. We pet them, and talk to them (if you ever get a video of the pups from me and the sound has been removed it’s because I can not control the most obnoxious baby voice that comes out of me when I talk to them 🤣), snuggle with them, expose them to all sorts of sights and sounds, give them space to explore and test their independence. This produces well-rounded puppies who integrate smoothly into their forever homes. I have heard many, many, times from our families how easy their pup has been to train, and how well-adjusted and intelligent they are. This is also because I place our puppies with families that are willing and ready to do the work that it takes to be consistent in training.
There is a reason that goldendoodles have become so popular. They are really wonderful doggies! Please remember that the way they are bred, their environment, the temperament of their parents etc. all play a part in the outcome. Whether you get a pup from me or not, please do your research on the breeder. If I don’t have pups available, or if mine aren’t quite the size you’re looking for, I'm happy to put you in touch with other reputable breeders. ♥

This never gets old. 🐶💗🐶💗🐶
Oh they got this! This folks, is how a healthy relationship with a crate begins! We introduce a crate to our pups at a young age (3-4 weeks) The door is always open, so they can get familiar with it while not feeling confined. When they are old enough, we close the door for short periods of time, giving them positive reinforcement while they practice using the crate. They are never left too long, as this will give them a negative correlation with the crate. Finally, we make sure the pups get lots of exercise during the day, so they are ready to curl up and take a little nap in their crate. This is a great skill for them to have, and can benefit them (and you) throughout their life. Here are some benefits in my experience:
1. It’s a safe place for them to be when you’re gone for short periods.
2. It’s a great way to train their bladder. (doggies will not typically go potty where they sleep, so if your crate is the right size and they are the appropriate age, a crate is incredibly useful in the potty training process)
3. Do you ever get overstimulated, sleepy, or just want to be by yourself for a few? If a dog has a good relationship with a crate, it can be a refuge for them. Since dogs are denning animals, they actually enjoy having a little spot to themselves where they can relax and diffuse. 😌 🐶
Crate training is important and we start that process while they’re with us to make the transition even easier!
So proud of these girls!

I know I’m not supposed to be bias, but Bud has the most boopable nose I’ve ever seen. Whoever claims him must agree to boop his nose once a day for me. 🥰💙🥰💙
