Pulled all of the bullsnakes out of brumation today. Here are some shots of my big albino multi het female. Last year she laid a clutch of 14 slugs, but she looks great and hopefully we can get some babies this year!

I’ve been a regular listener to MPR for the last 4 or so years. To have been invited on as a guest was a special moment for me, as their show is an invaluable resource, and wealth of knowledge to the hobby. I hope to be back on in the future, with more experience under my belt.

This Mpenn striped red male, is the cornerstone of my Red Coastal projects. He has such a unique look that’s hard to capture in pictures, but note the two tone contrast on the laterals. Hopefully one day he will breed with both Eric Burke and Erick W. Hernandez Chacon lines of MBB red jags.

I finally had a logo made. The inspiration for the name VVS Exotics stems from my love of diamond pythons, and then the “real” stone diamonds. VVS stands for very very slightly, and refers to to inclusions in a diamond. “VVS” is of the highest quality and that’s how I view my snakes, and the ones I will produce in the future.

Unfortunately it isn’t always good news in the hobby. My big female bullsnake laid her first clutch today (14 eggs 1 not pictured) and it seems that all of them are duds. The bright side is that she seems to have passed them all with no issues, and she still looks great! We will just try again next year.

No visual locks from these two yet, but they’re together under the hide box 24/7, and yesterday I checked on them, and all of the bedding had been pushed to one side of the enclosure? So something happened in there I guess, but who knows what lol
