𝟱-𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗵 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲

Transform your dog’s leash skills in just five days! Our Leash Manners Course combines training with a boarding experience, ensuring your dog not only learns proper leash behavior, but also practices good manners throughout their stay. A go-home lesson will be conducted at the end to ensure you and your dog are on the same page.

During this program, your dog will:
🐾 Learn to walk politely on a leash without pulling or lunging.
🐾 Practice impulse control and focus in real-world settings.
🐾 Reinforce basic commands like sit, stay, and leave it while on leash.
🐾 Gain exposure to distractions to improve reliability.

This course is perfect for dogs who struggle with leash etiquette or need extra practice in staying calm and focused during walks. It is not suitable for dogs with a lot off reactivity. While boarding, your dog will also enjoy a structured, safe environment with daily enrichment to support their learning.

Albus is staying for a board and train to work on his pretty intense reactivity towards people and dogs. This is his third day, and the first day that he was exposed to any triggers after letting him settle in a bit. I have high hopes for him, and I’m excited to see him progress!

Cash is coming along great! He’s a happy, motivated puppy that is a joy to be around.

Uzi is pretty rusty, so I’m refreshing her retrieving skills. Always more than happy to work 🖤

When you revolve your whole life around dogs, it looks a little like this 🖤

Cooper has been with me for a little over a week and has been the best boy 🖤 I’ll be opening my schedule for a couple dogs in July, starting on the 15th!

For times when I’m busy and cannot supervise the puppy, (but don’t feel like putting her away) I let her have a lick mat. On this one, I put peanut butter, a little bit of coconut oil, her kibble, blueberries, and then froze it. I have about 4 of these made up and ready to go. She’s now napping quietly in crate 🖤

Tucker Day 3 Handsome boy is doing great! He’s been working on his manners while inside the crate, and when greeting people also. He tends to be a little over-exuberant when saying hi 🤪

About Me

Hello! My name is Hannah Doll, owner of Ideal Dog Cincinnati. I discovered my passion for animal training at a young age through equestrian sports. Over time, my interest grew and I delved into the science of animal training. I gained experience with professional dog training through shadowing under accomplished trainers which then led to me working as a trainer full time. One of my main hobbies outside of training dogs, is falconry. As a licensed falconer, I train and free fly birds of prey for hunting. Overall, I feel that these different training approaches encompass my unique view on training dogs and allows me to help create the ideal dog for your family.
