Good morning! I know this isn’t farm related but indulge me…my granddaughter is coming today. I wanted to get her a peddle toy I could push and I wanted it for today-MUST have for TODAY…It came last night and I went to put it together. Now, I consider myself relatively capable at following directions and clicking plastic parts together, but this little gem was a challenge. I spent a good hour and determined in great frustration that I was missing a part. Spent another hour taking it apart and stuffing it forcefully back into the box, only to find the missing part hiding behind junk on my counter. (Big Blush). So, if you would please take a good look- it is majestic, yes? Perhaps, I would say, a work of art? Surely, a real accomplishment and YES-ready for TODAY! (I’m exhausted😂)…

This morning has been a lovely unexpected blessing! The horses are so much bigger, but Dora and Diego quietly move next to them to share their hay. There is hay all over the paddock, but they are choosing to go to the piles that Bugsy and Just Is are eating. I didn’t expect this at all! There is something so softly healing about the donkeys gentle courage to trust and try to be a family, and the horses total acceptance. It’s so remarkable, and I almost missed ever having the experience. I only put them together because I thought we were all missing TJ and we needed to come together. Love to you all today!❤️❤️❤️

Everyone has been missing our TJ. So, I let them graze together in one pen. They stuck together the whole time. This is the first time the donkeys have been with the horses ever! I love these creatures beyond words! They are such a loving family. Love to all of you too!❤️❤️❤️

I am heartbroken to say that sweet TJ passed away yesterday morning. He was a wonderful friend, teacher, and advisor. He was completely loving regarding all of my faults, and had unwavering faith in my ability to be educated in animal speak. Sometimes he was dismayed at my denseness, but he withheld judgement and patiently instructed me to pay attention and listen to all that was around me. The farm is quiet and profoundly aware of the enormous gap left in the family. We will forever miss the beautiful and gentle TJ Bear. Until we meet again TJ, may God hold you in the palm of Her hand.❤️❤️❤️

I was talking to someone yesterday and they said how messed up the world is and Armageddon was soon and inevitable. I have no idea one way or another, but for me this is true: I’d rather go to the end of my days loving this world-this earth- with all the love I can muster, then hating it when time is of the essence.
