Arlo, the CH cat
This is Arlo, who was returned to BAS because he was miserable in his previous home. Since going back to his original foster, he has done very well in a quieter environment.
Arlo has moderate Cerebellar Hypoplasia. Joyce, his foster mom has made great strides with Arlo. He has been diaper trained. His foster mom made him a feeding station that allows him to eat more comfortably. He was growling a lot when he first came back but as you can see from this video he has relaxed and loves his foster mom’s dog Susie. Susie loves all the cats and kittens that come into this foster home. As you watch the video, you can see that when she’s had enough, she politely removes herself.
Arlo is available for adoption to the right home. His foster mom says that he is much easier to care for than you’d think. Diaper changes are simple. Feeding is no longer a chore with his feeding station. Joyce is doing what she can to give him as much of a normal life as possible.
She does not recommend letting him go to a home with children. A quiet home without a lot of daily hustle and bustle is recommended.
If you want to see more about Arlo, visit his foster mom’s FB page, where Arlo has become a page follower favorite.

This gorgeous girl is 1 year old Hazelnut, and she's hoping this video will find her new owners!
In Greek mythology, Atlas is the God of strength and endurance and is known as the Titan who carries the world upon his shoulders. Well, our Atlas probably hasn't carried that much weight, but he likely has a few tales to tell.
To start with, how it is that he ended up running loose at a rest stop along I-40 in Burlington. That had to be scary! This guy came to us at around 2 years old, and he has shown nothing but sweetness since arriving at BAS the day after Christmas. Atlas is ready for a second chance at love and a new home, so if you'd like to help make his wish come true, come meet this nice, friendly pup soon!
This adorable face belongs to 2-year-old Ace, who is available for adoption at our Adoption and Resource Center. If you would like to meet him, stop by!
