Please review our recommended ordering deadlines to ensure your pet has enough food and medication to last them through the holiday season. *

💊MVSO - Standard ground shipping takes three business days to arrive. We will not be able to approve any online orders when we are out of the office (see our Holiday Hours post).

🐾Hills Prescription Diets - Our last ordering date of the year is 12/18/2024. Orders placed on 12/18 will arrive on 12/20/24. If you miss this order date, we do keep select diets in stock while supplies last.

💉Compounding Pharmacies - Please reach out to Wedgewood and/or The Pet Apothecary as soon as possible. Compounded medications have longer turnaround times and vary based on each medication.

🏥In-clinic refills - Our last ordering date before Christmas is 12/18/2024. Orders placed on 12/18 should arrive on 12/20/2024. If you miss this order date, we do keep a limited quantity of most medications in stock, while supplies last.

*Manufacturer backorders and shipping delays are out of our control. If your pet's food or medications are delayed because of these reasons we will help you to find an alternative.

Dr. Molitor will be out of the office from Monday, December 23rd through Thursday, January 2nd. The clinic will be open abbreviated hours, in his absence, for food and medication refills only. We will not have any appointments available during this time.

With the weather turning frigid, we want to remind you that BPL is an official warming center!

Anytime we're open, you're welcome to come inside and hang out anytime we're open. We've got snacks in our Library Food Pantry, warm drinks, and a book or two.

No library card required... although we may try to talk you into one while you're here, but don't worry they're free!

The Christmas Parade is this evening. Please be aware of road closures and parking restrictions.

Christmas Parade December 6

Don’t miss the annual Christmas Parade on Friday, December 6 beginning at 6:30 pm! The parade will begin on Kane Street, then to Milwaukee Avenue, E. Chestnut Street and end on Pine Street/Chandler Blvd. Please note the following:

- No parking on Kane Street from Chandler to Wainwright effective 1:00pm
- No Parking downtown on parade route beginning at 4:00 pm
- All Detours will be in place at 5:30 pm

As soon as the Common Council has walked the parade, Mayor Schultz will immediately traverse to the Christmas tree located in Wehmhoff Square Park to officially light the tree.

Santa and Mrs. Claus will be at the Chalet following the parade meeting children eager to tell them what they want for Christmas.
