As you know, I lost my sweet French Bulldog, Dream back in October. The loss was unbearable. A month after the loss of Dream the universe blessed me with the sweetest French Bulldog, Razzie. Razzie did more to heal my heart than anything had, and I found my smile again. Those of you that met her, immediately fell smitten! It is with the heaviest of hearts, that I have more devastating news. Tuesday Razzie underwent surgery, to fix a severely compromised airway. On Thursday she died of complications. Her sweet little body was just never meant to fight, and she succumbed.

My heart is hurt. I am crushed and broken beyond repair at this point.

Please hug your babies tight!

This picture was taken one week prior to her passing. I am so glad I have this to forever remember her by.

Per my original post, which was misinterpreted as negative, Earthwise Marysville is no longer operating IN STORE retail. Their grooming is, as of this post, still operating. We have heard great things about their groomers and encourage those that use them, to continue to do so.

Anyone reading my original post knows that it was kind and considerate. Unfortunately, Dan had perceived it as negative 😢 I simply wanted to clarify.

I understand the copious amounts of stress revamping a business may cause, Again, I wish Dan the best in his future endeavors, and the revamping of his grooming business.

Julz Animal Houz is here for you. We are not going anywhere!!

The news is out, that pet store EARTHWISE Marysville has officially gone out of business (grooming is currently still being offered). It is always heart wrenching when a small business shutters their doors! Washington makes being a small business VERY hard, with over half of them closing within five years.

My heart goes out to owner, Dan, as it can’t be easy to see a dream turn into something else all together. I wish him nothing but the best in all of his future endeavors.

Additionally, my heart goes out to all of the Earthwise Marysville staff that ultimately lost their jobs during the holidays.

So what does this mean to Earthwise customers? To their frequent buyer cards? It could mean a loss of all that has accrued, or, it could mean you transfer those cards to another store. Depending on your location, if you need help, we can help you transfer cards to us, or find a pet store near you that works with the Astro program.

Again, this isn’t an easy situation for Dan and his staff. Tons of good juju being sent their way!

What is wrong with people!? I’m over here freaking out because my lil frenchie girl doesn’t feel well, and there are people that do this s**t!

Karma is a bitch I’ve seen work magic! May she find the as****es responsible and work her magic on them!
