Camp Week 3! Our campers had a FABULOUS week at horse camp! Each camper got to ride our fantastic ponies, had daily lessons on horse care, a visit with our incredible farrier, scavenger hunts and veggie hunts, many many crafts and games, and were able to learn important skills such as grooming, bathing, and taking care of a pony!

We can’t thank our families enough for letting their kiddos come enjoy a week at Horse Camp!

One more week next week and then we are working on our back to school lessons schedule - if you’d like to join our last horse camp week or begin riding lesson, send us a message today! 🐴

Our Week 3 Campers are having a BLAST at Horse Camp this week! Parents, we just sent out an email about tomorrow’s schedule and can’t wait to see the kiddos for the final day of this week’s camp!

Summer Camp Week 2!! We may be biased but we have the best Camp Kiddos and Horses! It has been a HOT one the past couple days, but the Kiddos and Horses have had an awesome time!

On Monday we had our farriers come and teach our Intermediate Riders all about a horse’s hoof care. We watched Luna get a trim and Carlos get shoes! Our farriers are the best and we are so thankful for Frank’s Farrier Service for taking the time to teach our Kiddos. Our riders also painted some awesome crafts, had a great lesson, had an amazing scavenger hunt, and got to ride ba****ck!

Today, our riders focused on the importance of horse grooming! We learned about different grooming equipment, deep cleaned our grooming supplies so our horses have clean brushes, and worked on grooming the best ponies ever! Our riders had Great lessons, got to enjoy a Mule ride with Miss Kelly, and took a ride in the field with the help of our counselors as well 🎉

Wow what fun!! Windridge Campers have been having a fabulous week!

Yesterday, our riders had an amazing lesson where they learned about Two Point jumping position, got to make a Pool Noodle Horse, and rode ba****ck and backwards!

Today, our riders had an amazing lessons where we put our two point to use while we jumped our horses and ponies over ground pole courses! Our riders were fabulous! We also painted some ponies and learned how to give the best horse baths!

Tomorrow is our Expo Day and they can’t wait to show off all they’ve learned and worked on this week, Way to Go Camp Riders!

We had a great 1st day at Horse Camp!! Our riders met all of our star ponies & horses, had a fabulous ride, learned all about grooming a horse and painted some beautiful arts and crafts!

We had a great week our first time at Splitrock!
Lily Olexia and Luna Dash were reserve champion in the large children’s hunter pony.
Abbie Storandt and McLovin ended reserve in the 3’3 older juniors as well as earning 4th out of 33 in the national derby!
Caroline Weis and Hohenfels SH ended the weekend with a win in a very competitive low children’s division! So proud of these girls and our wonderful horses 🥇🔥👏🏻

Our Windridge Farm Riders had a great Home Clinic Day where we learned how to build a course, walk our horses strides, pull manes, & how to clean a stall like a Pro! All girls had fabulous rides on the horses and we are so proud of our girls!

14 y/o 14.3h Appaloosa mare
This super cute, brave little mare has a great work ethic and is game for anything! She has most recently been used in a hunter/jumper lesson program and the kids absolutely love her. She does require some maintenance due to arthritis in her knees, and unfortunately we have decided it’s best she not jump anymore. Luckily, she also really enjoys the trail riding and we are searching for her next person to go on adventures with! She’s brave enough to lead, will ride alone or with others, and likes water! Other than her arthritis she is a very easy keeper. Lives on little grain/hay, goes out in a herd, and would even be happy living outside 24/7.
Priced in 4 figs. Located in northern Kentucky.
Come take her for a test drive! 🚘

Miss Mabel
14.3h 14 y/o Appaloosa mare
“Mabel” is as straightforward as they come. Point and shoot. No spook, buck, spin, or any other funny business. Great on trails and loves to jump. Has been used in a lesson program and is best suited for 2ft and under. Extremely easy keeper, even in the winter months. Wears plain front shoes and does require some maintenance due to arthritis in her knees (why she can’t jump over 2ft). Was just introduced to showing this year, and packed the kid around just like she does at home. First show she was champion and the second show reserve champion. Turns out in a herd and gets along with others. Currently owned by an adult amateur who is only selling due to health issues in the family. Great home is a must. Priced mid/high four figures
