Happy Thanksgiving from the Castle M family! I will be accepting deer until lunch today and closing up shop to spend time with the family! We will reopen Friday for normal business hours. We pray you have safe travels, happy hunting and healthy harvests! 🦃

As a generational hunter myself, trying to keep the tradition of the family hunting experience alive; I give discounted rates for children’s euros, disabled/physically challenged hunts, and I’m a big believer in giving back to our troops-active duty or veterans.

This is Ms Kylei Sue and I’ve had the privilege of watching her grow up with my oldest daughter. She was never a hunter, doesn’t care to get dirty, or be cold and this child is ALWAYS hungry! Out of the 7 deer that were harvested on this family hunt, Kylei couldn’t bring herself to take one but this sweet girl hopped right in on cleaning, ALL 7! Not every kid likes to shoot, not every kid wants to pull the trigger and take a life, not understanding how it provides. Wake a kid up early at camp and have them help prepare breakfast for the hunters, have them fill thermoses with kettle coffee and have them gather firewood for the harvest coming back. Teach them how to use a knife, teach them how to care for cast iron, just keep teaching!! She had the time of her life out there and I’d encourage you all to take a kid hunting! Make it a family affair❤️

Congratulations to Ms Sydnie Rodriguez on her birthday buck harvest! This 7 point stud was a Llano County native. Her first hunt with her father-in-law as his gift to her and four minutes after the feeder went off, her .243 put him down! Great job, ma’am! Happy birthday from Castle M! 🦌💥❤️

In true tradesman fashion; loved ones and friends often wait the longest for their projects to be completed! My youngest daughter finally got to pick up last December’s south Texas buck. I even gave her a 50% discount for her wait 😉🦌💀

🦌It’s that time of year again!! I am looking to hire a part time skinner for the season!

HELPFUL HINTS-
-Experience is a plus but not necessary to be successful!
-Must be willing to learn
-Work requires Saturdays and some Sundays after church until January
-Maintain a mid-grade positive attitude
-Work is performed in elements at times, you must be able to dress accordingly.

THINGS TO NOTE BEFORE APPLYING-
If you have a weak stomach, smells and blood get to you, you’re allergic to deer hair, have NEVER touched meat before and want to ‘check it out’, this is probably not the place for you.

Thank you for your continued business and support! Castle M is quickly approaching the anniversary of our first year in business, how exciting! I’d like to take this time to remind you all, DEER SEASON IS ALMOST HERE!! 😎🦌 With that being said, here’s what’s changing!!

-Delivery fees for pick-ups/drop-offs over 200 miles
-Interlocked heads will be evaluated per piece for pricing
-We have a new steam box for horn slips!
-Individual Ranches/Outfitters wholesale pricing available

We are NOT increasing our pricing this year. As a small business owner and human being alive in America presently, I see first hand the financial hardships we all face. My goal when I started Castle M, was to successfully grow a business I love, in an industry I highly respect. That goal hasn’t changed. I work with many people/shops who are feeling the sting and we won’t add to it! We are still trucking right along with summer exotics and waltzing right into cooler temperatures 😎 Stay tuned for drawings for free stuff! Thanks again for all the love this first year! 🦌

Yall remember this old gal?! The bongo cow? She had been neglected and came to me in pieces.. Yes! Yes it did take this long! Pulling grease is not fast and not one of my most favorite things to do! But my, my.. it sure does shine!

When expecting; animals returning from overseas, hogs, bears, house pets, gators, and a few various other species, PLEASE allow for extra time as they hold a little more grease than others! *Last picture is for live animal reference only, not the actual animal skull pictured before it!*

A giraffe cow skull with four leg bones coming in for degrease! 🦒 when expecting animals coming back from customs, please allow extra time ! Before shipping overseas, bone is hard boiled to remove any flesh and tissue. This is terrible for the bone itself and makes the degrease process take much, much longer! 😎
