Well, Galaxy (Dial A Morning Star) decided to have her foal yesterday morning and broke her water right at the end of my work shift. In the time that it took for me to finally get home, about 45 minutes, she hadn't really progressed. I ended up having to help her, as he was a big c**t. He is sired by Playing Aces N Vegas.

I was very proud of Playing Aces N Vegas (Ace) at the Hell on Wheels Rodeo. The ground was soup, and they told everyone that they weren't going to rake when we started running slack. They ran 8 in the performance, but before we got to run slack, they had already gone through the bulls and then the slack of calf roping, team roping and breakaway.
I was #16 in slack.
He did awesome in his run.

Last night, Playing Aces N Vegas (Ace) along with a little bit of help from Streakin NTaMoonlite (Buckshot), won the Shining P Productions spring series 4D buckle.
I'd like to thank Peyton Crowder, her parents Robbie Crowder and Missy Crowder, and the other people who help Peyton out, for putting on this buckle series. I know its a lot of work and they do an awesome job at it.

Short But Sassy decided to have her foal early this morning.
She blessed us with a dark bay c**t with white spots.
I was super excited for this cross to be born as the c**t's sire, Perks In Blue is a son of Dash For Perks and out of a daughter of Leo Hancock Hayes and he is owned by Cresha Aaron.

Got my pictures yesterday from Traci Davenport Photography from the 2025 BBR World Finals of Playing Aces N Vegas (AQHA) and Streakin NTaMoonlite (ApHC).
While I would've loved to be able to go to the Sunday finals, it wasn't in the cards, but I was happy with the majority of my runs, and Ace and I won some money in the senior sidepot.
I was able to sort out some more things with Buckshot to help him get better thanks to some experts and friends, as we've been fighting some soreness issues from an old injury that no one recognized as an injury because he never went lame. Through chiropractor and osteopath work, cold lasers and a Beemer blanket, and changing to a different saddle pad, slowly but surely, I'm seeing improvement.
It was a bitter sweet BBR for a huge majority of us as this will be our last time to run in the historic Jim Norick arena as they have plans to implode it in August of this year.

So today marked years of designing, planning, and finally removing the center post that held up the center piece while the trusses and purlins were being installed.
It originally started with me getting the power poles that were being replaced on my property by the power company, and used conveyor belt from my work, to putting on the siding, and finally getting the roof put on.
We still have to get the roofing tin installed the rest of the way, as well as the polycarbonate around the topside of the walls, but we are getting there, if the wind would just behave itself and not blow.
I want to thank everyone who has been involved in my crazy dream. Without them, it would still be a dream and not becoming a reality.

Just wanted to share some pics of Playing Aces N Vegas (Ace) and Streakin NTaMoonlite (Buckshot) from when we competed at Christmas Cash in Amarillo, TX right after Christmas.
While we fell in the cracks as far as payout goes, I was happy with how both boys worked.

Streakin NTaMoonlite (Buckshot) and I made our very first performance run yesterday and it was the first time that I really hustled him on the barrel pattern to see if he'd handle the lead change to the second barrel. While it wasn't the prettiest of runs, I sure was happy.
This was a futurity sidepot and he ended up 1st in the 2D and won some money.

Ace (Playing Aces N Vegas) and I competed at the Fizz Bomb the 1st weekend in September and we won some money in the Wendy Larsen senior race.

So Ace (Playing Aces N Vegas) and I had a really nice weekend at the Jody Motley Memorial barrel race. We won checks in the open and novice horse, as well as being 5th in the average in the Novice Horse 2D.
We also took checks home in the Diamond Classic side pot.
