Fostering Furbabies Animal Rescue

We are a 501c3 Non Profit animal rescue based in Burton, MI. Our goal is to foster cats until they are ready for their forever home.

We get our cats/kittens fully vetted. We combo test, we spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, treated for parasites and given flea preventatives. We make sure the kitties are social and loving. We want to make sure the kitties find their forever home. We will only adopt to pre-approved adopters.

We are in our crafting era again. These are our cat nip filled fleece toys. I’ll post a video in the comments of Socks loving his. He doesn’t usually play with toys. Only $5 each, sizes vary but trying to keep them around 4x5 or so.

Amethyst is a beautiful little tabby with white feet and an orange nose! She is a playful but shy little girl. She enjoys pets so she stays close but is still a bit nervous. She might take a little bit longer to warm up, but she is gorgeous, loves to play, curious about kids, and loves her ears and butt scratched.

Please us meet our goal.

We are so fortunate to have spay/neuter dates for Bella & Babies. The whole family will get spayed/neutered in February. This means we have just a few weeks to help with their funding.

As you know rescuing a pregnant dog was not in our plans. We did reach out to other rescuers to see if they could take Bella on, but everyone is/was full. So, we had to make the best of this situation. We need our communities to help with these babies. We are grateful for everything everyone has done for Bella & Babies.

This is the vetting schedule. We need 249 people to donate $10 to help us keep them protected.

February 12th - Bella spay & microchip (paid in full)
February 19th - 3 Neuters, 3 microchips & 3 vaccines $360
February 20th - 8 vaccines - $280
February 25th - 4 neuters, 4 microchips- $340
February 26th - 4 spays & 4 microchips- $340
March 13th - 22 vaccines (final distemper & rabies) $330

$170 a month for flea/heartworm prevention.

Espresso, Nutty, and Fritter are still looking for their forever homes! They will be 8 months on the 18th, but they are all still fairly small. They are the snuggliest babies!

Topaz spent her first 4 years outside. Now she's loving life inside at her foster home!

We brought her inside in April 2023. Shes come around so much since then. Shes still afraid of people but she loves being cozy and snoozing on blankets and beds.

We hope she continues to warm up and we can find her a forever home, but for now we're so happy she's safe and warm and not having any more kittens.

It’s . Today we are asking m for your $5 to help cover the cost of the puppies vaccines & their flea & heartworm prevention.

Vaccines are $385 each time we go (double that when they get rabies) and $180 a month for their flea/heart worm prevention.

Update on Bella!

Meet Sasha 2.0 and her crew! They came into the rescue in July. Friday, Sasha and her girls will be getting spayed and next week the boys will be getting neutered. They will be ready for adoption in a couple of weeks. September is an expensive month for us.
