Update: Max has been placed on his home
Meet Handsome MAX. Max is a gentle soul & is needing a new home. His family is under great financial hardship due to serious health & physical problems. Although Max's human Mom & Dad love him very much, they know they cannot provide & care for him anymore & have hopes of rehoming him into a wonderful home to happily live out his senior years.
Max is a 10 year old German Shepherd & weighs 96 lbs.
Up to date on vaccines, neutered, microchipped & Heartworm negative.
He is a quiet & gentle old man who loves his people & loves taking car rides. Kids age 8 & over recommended.
Loves to play with his Chuck-It Air Fetch ball. He prefers these over tennis balls and they are much safer if swallowed.
House trained & has never had an accident in the house. Lets you know he needs outside by barking in your face. Max does require a bite size treat upon return from potty :)
Max has been a great foster brother & has helped transition a few foster dogs in getting ready for their forever Homes.
Max gets along with other dogs & lives with a 20 lb Terrier mix.
Cats are unknown & he will chases cats and critters from the yard because that's his job!
Max is crate trained but it is not necessary. In 5 years he has never chewed up anything.
