Just took Buddy to a vet here in Pulaski. Nothing major, just an allergy shot and a refill of trazadone. I'm not going to bother with all the things that were terrible about this vet, but the one thing that I find amazing is he seemed either uninterested or afraid of dogs. We were there for an hour and a half ( part of the details) and he never greeted Bud and never touched him. Odd, right? After we reminded him to give Buddy his injection, he finally had to touch him. The vet looked terrified and after he realized Buddy took the shot like nothing happened, he was amazed! Buddy loves everybody and never gets aggressive. This vet should find another career while he's young. He doesn't like dogs lol

The kids are starting to figure things out. We can now go outside without them storming through the door! Shane Brislin is doing things outside and they're calm. Yesss!

As of today, if you are not already scheduled, we will not be doing anymore pet sitting / dog walking around the Bushkill area until next spring/ summer.
We plan on being up in this area then, so if you need us, let us know.
We will miss everybody!!

Let's see. It was a 2 cats, 2 huskies, two Frenchies, one Belgian Maliniois, one Mastador and one English Springer Spaniel kind of day! Love every minute!!!

I feel like I need to reiterate something. I am not a kennel. I'm not allowed to be a kennel. I am in a private community that doesn't allow it. Occasionally I allow my friends dogs to come over for a play date. That's after many visits with my dogs, though. I come to your house so your pets feel comfortable. In their own home.
I will gladly watch your fish or snake in my home though.

It feels so good when a nervous dog starts to trust you. It may be guarded trust, but anything is progress! Pets rely on our patience. If you have children, think of it like this.
Every child is different, and not every child has the same needs as others. Our pets are no different.
