Please say a prayer for my Daisy. She just came out of emergency surgery for bloat. Surgery went well. Just have to see how she recovers. Thankfully caught it in time. Surgery was 10,500.00. If anyone is in a giving mood I will be happy to give the name of the vet for direct donations to her bill.

Due to owner health issues, Waylon has been returned to me. Waylon will be 2 yrs old on Nov 11. He is Black and Tan. Waylon is very sweet but rambunctious and lacks training. He is housebroken. Prefers to be a house dog. He likes other dogs and has had limited exposure to my cats but has ignored them so far. The con to Waylon is food aggression. He is currently fed in his crate so he doesn’t feel threatened. He did guard his dish the first day he came back here. I currently wait until he is outside to retrieve his dish but there is no issue to putting it in the crate with him. He just doesn’t want it removed. He will take food from your hand in and out of the crate and I am gradually working on his dish guarding issue. He will have to go to someone experienced with bloodhounds and food guarding. At this point, he will stay here until the right home is found. He was a bit underweight when I picked him up but he is gaining weight and muscle. If you are interested, please pm me with your living situation and your bloodhound experience.

It is with a heavy heart that I have realized that at my age, I do not have the time and energy to start over with a large breed puppy. Therefore I am making Zeus, the god of bloodhounds, available to the right family. He was my pick of the litter and has possible show potential. He comes with health certificate and AKC registration application. I will be very discerning about where he goes and will screen potential homes. If you are interested, send me a pm and tell me something about your family, lifestyle, home situation, etc. I am open to doing a co-ownership with the right person. Will add more photos. I held back a liver tan male for myself but still trying to decide if I still have the energy to start with another pup as I want what is best for him and not me. I will be taking the weekend to decide.
