Tiangou really is a special little helper dog!
Stella, the Frenchie, was fairly socially awkward when he started social visits with her a couple years ago. She has come a long way and has learned to calm down a bit with other dogs.
Pebbles, the Maltese puppy, is quite fearful for a pup and even struggles to walk on concrete - or on a leash at all. Tiangou has been showing her that these things are okay and she's slowly progressing.
Having a dog that can help others, both canine and human, sure is an amazing thing!

Today marks a momentous occasion as we celebrate the first birthday of our own beloved boy, Lochlan! It is astonishing how fast time has passed; it seems like only yesterday that he was an awkward pup, and now he has blossomed into a magnificent yet awkward adolescent dog.
While Lochlan may have reached the milestone of one year, it is important to remember that adolescent dogs, often referred to as 'teenage' dogs, still possess many puppy-like characteristics and have a significant amount of mental maturation left to do!

Meet Tiangou!
Tiangou is Rachel's dog - a 3 year old Pekingese who is an incredible little guy and an excellent trainer's helper! He often helps with fearful small dog cases and with reactivity. He also does therapy dog work and has his Advanced Trick Dog Title. He's the best! 💙

Today was a great day! ❤️
We gave a presentation on body language, behavior, handling, enrichment and more for both dogs and cats at Humane Society of Westmoreland County! The staff was amazing and we had such a fun time!

Over the weekend Rachel played 'Diving for Blueberries' with Lochlan. He was quite clever and learned that if he moved the water, the blueberry was much easier to get.

We love Crescent Ridge Veterinary Hospital so very much! The care they have given our beloved furry family is exceptional! It was so lovely to see Rachel's Peke and kitty featured today. If you're in need of an amazing and compassionate clinic, look no further.

Zeke may have some struggles, but he shines so brightly! In the last few months that we've known and worked with Zeke, we watched him get better and better with his family.
It takes a special family to dedicate themselves to a struggling dog, and his family did just that. They are simply amazing! With the patience and love of his family and the help of Rachel as well as Zeke's wonderful vet, he has been given a chance he may not have had otherwise.
What an amazing journey it's been so far! We love you Zeke!

Meet Roo!
Roo was adopted last year to a lovely family who had us work with her to help her acclimate into the home a little better. We recently did some work in their yard and she was all ears, ready to listen!

This is Colby!
Colby Jack is Nacho average Dane! She may struggle with being fearful, but she is so Gouda. She is definitely no Muenster! Once she gets to know you a little Cheddar, she melts right into you and can keep you from feeling Bleu!
We were so happy to meet Colby and we are excited to see her progress. She is going to Brie grate!

This lovely young lady is Gravy Boat! Yes - Gravy Boat!
Gravy has some difficulties with reactivity, triggers to movement, and strong emotions. Last week, we worked on mat training, targeting, and more! We were unsure of Gravy's capabilities first, but she surpassed our expectations during our most recent session. She is truly one of a kind, and we adore her!

Happy Sunday! This is Charlie! Charlie was adopted from the shelter last year and has quite an exuberant method of greeting house guests. He wants to be the life of every party! He's working on learning to make more appropriate choices with company as well as to lessen some of the big feels he has on walks. Charlie truly is a joyous boy, and he won our hearts for sure!
