****WESLEY HAS BEEN ADOPTED. PERCY AND MINA ARE STILL AVAILABLE****

Our 3 little newbies at the shelter this week. They arrived last Friday and are having a ball running all over! All of them are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, FIV/FELV negative and microchipped.

Top is Percy. Percy is very sweet and little quieter and calmer than his new friends. He is around 7 months old and as you can see is more medium haired.

Mina is in the middle with her adorable freckle nose. She and Wesley (bottom pic) are friendly balls of energy who are fully taking advantage of the joys of not being in a cage, lol. Mina is around 4 months old.

Little Wesley at the bottom is the baby at 3 months old. Medium haired like Percy with an adorable floofy tail. Super playful.

Beautiful little Gretel is finally done with the cast for her broken foot and has been given the all clear from the vet to find her forever home. The vet couldn’t say enough about what a sweet and good girl she’s been all this time. Gretel is approximately 6 months old at this point, vaccinated, spayed, FIV/FELV neg and microchipped. How cute are these two?! Came in this morning and found them cuddled up together. Does Mugsy think Autumn is his mama? Has Autumn taken Mugsy under her wing? Not sure, but they’re both waiting for their forever homes. Mugsy is approximately 5 months. Autumn is an adult, not sure exactly of her age…somewhere between 3 to 5y the vet thinks.

Awww, sweet little Gretel somehow broke her little foot a few weeks ago. Probably from jumping off something. Since she had to be caged with her splinted leg to prevent any further injury, she wound up pretty independent from her brother Hansel. Since we felt they were no longer closely bonded, Hansel was adopted separately. Gretel has a few more weeks with her splint and cage rest but is now (still, lol) up for adoption as a single lady. She is quite the trooper and as sweet as can be. 🥰🥰

Two new litters of litters arrived last week. The 3 on the left are brothers and the torties on the right are sisters. None are bonded and can be adopted together or separately. They are between 3 and 4 months old. Vaccinated, FIV/FELV neg, spayed/neutered and microchipped.

Sparky is the little tux with the wonky eye. Most likely had a bad infection at one point and the eye scarred over. But he’s a happy little dude.
Sam is the darker tabby on top and Mugsy is the grayer tabby on bottom.

Lily is the tortie on top and Daisy is the tortico with the white on her chest.

HUGE THANK YOU TO ALL WHO DONATED! We will be getting our new air conditioner today. The kitties are super grateful! 🥰😻🥰😻

Within the last few days our standup air conditioner which was in our cat room broke. We will need to replace it. If anyone has a few extra dollars to spare and would like to help out it would be greatly appreciated by the kitties. There’s still a lot of summer to go. We have PayPal, Venmo or it can be mailed to our P.O.Box. Thank you so much for your continued support. 💕😺💕

This was such a quick adoption that these boys were never even posted. Jonas and Travis came in one day and got adopted together practically the next day. Happy home boys!! 💕💕

This little lady, Autumn, isn’t exactly new, although it’s the first time we’re posting her. Autumn and another cat (we were told her brother but the vet said she was more likely his mother) came to us last fall from a shelter in NY that was being shut down for various unsavory reasons. Autumn (and the other kitty Jinx) were very, very scared and not up to date on vetting. Autumn has come pretty far in the months since we’ve had her. She’s definitely not the most energetic cat. Most days she hardly moves from her cat bed, lol. So if a couch potato is what you’re looking for, she’s it. Our vet thinks she may be around 5 ish. You can tell by her low hanging pouch that she probably had numerous litters in her past, but hey, that’s the price of motherhood right? She’s still shy with new people, but she loves when our volunteers sit on the floor next to her bed and give her some sweet loving and petting. She was brought up to date on vaccines, was tested negative for FIV/FELV and had been spayed. If you would like to meet our Autumn, please fill out an application at www.tbaws.org. 😺💕

The last of our newbies are brothers Fig (left) and Newton (right). They were adopted from BCAS as kittens. Then returned about 6 months later when the family said they were going on an “extended vacation overseas” and asked if the shelter could hold them “for about 8 months or so and then we’ll probably come back for them”. Since these sweet boys have been together their whole lives, we are adopting them out as a pair. They are very sweet, love to be pet and can be picked up easily. Another set of brothers, picked up from BCAS, are Arthur (white/tabby) and Buster (tabby). These two, though not technically bonded, do LOVE to play, chase and climb with each other or the other cats. They can be adopted together or separately, though it would be beneficial if there was another cat at home for them to play with. They are approximately 3 months old. They have their age appropriate vaccines, are neutered, FIV/FELV negative and microchipped. This little bonded brother and sister duo is Hansel and Gretel. They also arrived recently from south NJ. They are a very sweet pair with Hansel being just a smidge more outgoing than his sister. Gretel seems to always keep her eye on her brother so they are being kept together. They are approximately 4 months old. They have been spayed and neutered. Meet our little Greek God brothers. Zeus (on the left), Poseidon (top right) and Apollo (bottom right). They just came to us recently from another organization in south NJ along with another pair. These three are super sweet and very social. They are not bonded and can be adopted separately. They are approximately 2 and 1/2 months old. They have their age appropriate vaccines, are all neutered, tested negative for FIV/FELV and microchipped. Yay!! Both Pikachu (left) and Harriet have found their forever homes this weekend. We’re always happy when our kitties find their families but especially when a long timer like Harriet gets her chance. Harriet had been with us since 2022!. 💕💕💕

It was such a pleasant (and greatly appreciated) surprise to find a box of litter by the shelter door when I came in to take care of the kitties this morning. We always have kind donations of towels and blankets but hardly ever get donations of litter or cat food. So to whomever kindly left that……Thank you!😺💕

Little Evie just loves the sink, lol. As a reminder, Evie is a petite 3 yr old girl. She is very playful and gets the zoomies chasing the other cats. She would be fine as a single cat or possibly with a cat that has the same energy level as her. She would most likely annoy a lazy kitty, lol. She can be picked up and held easily. 💕

****ADOPTED**** This little cutie is Pigeon. And if you listen closely in the video, you’ll know why he is named that. He makes a cooing sound rather then a meow. The vets fully examined him while he was having his neuter done and could find nothing out of the ordinary, like polyps, that could be the cause for the unusual though quite adorable noise. Pigeon is approximately 5 months old. He’s medium haired so will require some grooming upkeep. He is vaccinated, FIV/FELV negative, neutered and microchipped. Good morning kitties

****ADOPTED**** Meet sweet Juliet. Juliet hasn’t had it too easy so far. She was abandoned along with another cat, left behind in an apartment, by those who were supposed to be her family. Not sure how long they were left to fend for themselves until they ended up at BCAS. The other cat had already been adopted but we grabbed up Juliet to bring her to our shelter. She’s very shy at first and hides under her blanket but if you’re patient you’ll be rewarded with head butts and lots of petting, as you can see in the video. Juliet is approximately 5 years old. She is also front declawed. (We don’t agree with this, it was obviously done well before she came to us.) She is fully vaccinated, FIV/FELV negative, spayed and microchipped.
