As many of you know, Save This Life microchip registry has abruptly closed. If your pet is registered with this company, it will need to be reregistered. From now until April 1st any pet with Save This Life microchip can be registered with AKC Reunite for only $5!

Rising and falling temperatures will continue to change the activity of ticks. It is essential to practice tick prevention year round. Despite popular belief, 𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗸𝘀 𝗱𝗼 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗱𝗶𝗲 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗱 𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀. Ticks remain dormant under leaf liter where they will emerge on winter days with ideal conditions. Ideal conditions include temperatures slightly above freezing (37F). Get out your high socks, tuck in your pants, consider using a repellent and ALWAYS check for ticks.
